The In Place

My son and I were starving from a long day of hiking and this diner was the only place open in the vicinity. A taco salad was the only thing vegan available with iceberg lettuce for $13.99! Flavorless with no protein, I mean they could have provided some kind of beans on it. My son said his sandwich was bland and tasteless but he was starving and would take anything. I ended up settling for a protein bar, fruit, and veggies when we got back to our campsite.

The staff was great Friendly and helpful. I'm convinced I just made the wrong choice for dinner. The Philly Cheese Steak was mostly bread. Very dry bread. Very little meat with very little swiss cheese. I actually put A1 on it just to moisten it up. It needs smothered in a cheese sauce! I will come here again and give it another shot but order something else. The blackberry cobbler was AMAZING .

Super blueberry pie!!!!! The clam chowder was better than some high-end Seattle restaurants. My prime rib sandwich was excellent. Service was accomdating since we arrived near closing time. An affordable gem in Twilight.

Solid 3 stars. Service was friendly and helpful. Fresh bun and good flavor on the $13 burger. Lots of pickles but leaf Lettuce was bruised especially in the salad. Be prepared to pay 3.7% for credit card transaction fee. Limited heart smart options

We walked in and there were two gals at the register, didn’t even acknowledge we were standing right in front of them. About 15 seconds go by and they finally say hello and seat us. From there, the table and seat were still dirty when they sat us, the menu had soda stains on it, flies everywhere. Took about 30 min for them to come back around take our order and of course, the maple syrup was brought to us cold. Not a great impression to me, food was okay but everything else was meh.

Had grilled crab & shrimp sandwich.

Just wondering how a screwdriver is "custom" and costs $14. Was it top shelf vodka and fresh squeezed OJ?

Was almost deterred away from the bad reviews. Went here anyways, and was glad I did. This spot is just your classic American breakfast, low fuss and small town vibes. Just what I needed on vacation after days of traveling and adventuring. Good service also.

It was a perfect place to warm up after being outside by the misty ocean tide pooling all morning. The food was great and the service was friendly. They also have amazing hot cocoa!

Check out comments before you get into this terrible restaurant. It’s famous for its rude service to tourists. We wait for 20 mins and in the end they told us they don’t do any takeout. They could tell us earlier but they didn’t and let us wait there for 20 mins. Worst service I’ve had ever.

Had anice dinner and great breakfast here. Western skillet was perfection.
