The Krampus

My favorite little cafe in Kitsap County, this little hippie gem has the *best* ("Moon") biscuits and gravy as well as a great groovy atmosphere! Great breakfast and lunch menu. Get here early on weekends if you want their famous "Moon biscuits" as they often run out and there can be a wait to be seated but the wait is always worth it! <3

Slow to get our food, but everything else was amazing. Service, help yourself coffee, the red door waiting room 😂, food (kid’s Mac n cheese, kid’s pizza, breakfast burrito, chorizo and eggs). Fantastic waitress who was super friendly and patient with our kids. Don’t forget to flip the disco switch in the bathroom.

Great food; pretty good service, although not enough seating..
The coffee is self serve; which is a bit to get used to, although seams to be fresh.

I would estimate that there's only seating for 20 people..
The average wait time is 30+ minutes.

The best times to get there seams to be @7 when they open or around 10 a.m.

My wife and I try to make it in early for breakfast to beat the crowd/other early birds, whether a weekday or weekend, but have failed numerous times, due to the volume of customers this place generates on a daily, once they're open for chow! When we are successful at beating the crowd, we're able to enjoy our breakfast meals with a huge smile! Most of the time, we order the day's special. Other times, we order what's on their menu...either way, whatever meal you choose, it'll be an outstanding, well presented, tasty, hearty meal! The staff and service; very friendly and professional! The atmosphere is welcoming, vintage/nostalgic, creatively amusing, and clean! Overall, I recommend this place for breakfast...if you can make it there before the rest of the city does...and if you do, and if available/when available...enjoy eating your breakfast with a loved one, friends or family in the VW Type2 Vanagon/Bus! Did I mention that they're coffee station is a self serve coffee station made from the rear end of a VW Type2 as well? Awesome people! Awesome food! Awesome place!

Forgot to take a picture of food, but it was awesome. In a county where $15 gets you three eggs, two sausage links, and a coffee, this place rules! Great prices, delicious food. Only downside is there are about 20-30 seats max in the place, so it can be crowded. They finish your meal with a theme song from the lunch bucket they deliver your check with, which was super fun for my daughter. I had pancakes, fluffernutter sandwich, spam, chorizo and eggs. All great!!

Such a positive place, you literally can't eat here and be in a bad mood it is such a fun place to be, my kids love the toy box and the different hats and hair things they get to wear, the disco light in the bathroom is fun, the waiting area is great we went for breakfast on a Sunday and played uno while we waited for a table instead of everyone just standing around looking at their phones. The owner Heidi is always upbeat and working her tail off. Oh and the food is good and very reasonably priced! We will definitely be back!

We arrived here around 10 on a Saturday, and were told the wait was 45 min. It was more like 30, since a few parties ahead of us had left. While we waited, we chose a mug and helped ourselves to the delicious and fresh decaf coffee, at the bar that looked like the back of a VW van. The staff is friendly and outstanding, the wait for the food is not unreasonable for how busy they are. Delicious green eggs and ham, and we substituted the moon biscuits for the toast. They are unique and delightful. This little place is off the beaten path, but well worth visiting. I will be back.

I didnt hate it. Their website NEVER mentioned they were only open weekends and I was visiting my son and his family and we were excited to try this funky little place. Drove 30+ miles, could even hear people inside but the blinds and order window were closed. I knocked called. Oh well ! We ended up going to Dutch Brothers for coffee. 2 thumbs up ! And the Green light diner. Delish !

Amazing atmosphere! Family friendly, unique experience with a big touch of heart and fun! On top of great service and retro-fab decor, the food was delicious and affordable!! I highly recommend this eatery. Get over there now!
