HiLo has amazing service, great food, and an eclectic and fun environment. The wait is often long, but coffee is free for you to get as you wait as well as the nice waiting room and space outside for you to wait. The staff is extremely welcoming and fun as well. All the food is large portions and definitely a bang for your buck. They are usually out of their famous moon biscuits so get there early if you want them. You need a good amount of time to fully enjoy the experience but it is well worth it! Definitely stop by to see their thermos collection and VW memerobelia too.

I have eaten here a few times. Their coffee bar is a brilliant idea! If you end up having to wait on a table, you can grab a coffee cup from the counter, walk over to the coffee bar and choose from a selection of roast to enjoy while you wait. The food is delicious!

I don't get it. The place is small, cramped, and crowded - not with people, but with memorabilia and junk. The food was at best just ok, with a price that gets the same description. The service was really the only redeeming quality, and I can easily name places with equal or better service. I just fail to see how this place has the rating it does.

You won't leave saying "I'll never be back." Instead, you'll leave saying "why did I bother?"

Super cute family diner, great food, great service! All around was such a fun experience. Its such an accepting atmosphere too and relaxed as all get out. My boyfriend and i loved it and plan to go back for future brunch dates

Went to this restaurant second time this week due to Saturday having long wait times. My friends and I came few minutes before noon an employee was at the door with response “I have bad news, it’s going to be 90 degrsss today we are closing at noon.” We have never been in this situation as people were still eating, it’s before noon we should be seated and knowing they were closing we would have ordered quickly. The employee lacks customer service and as business owner you can never reach above capacity so building community relationships sticking to business operation hours is vital to your survival as small business. I’m very disappointed.

Best restaurant in Bremerton the staff is always upbeat and positive. The food is great I love the specials that they have. The moon biscuits and gravy are a must they're coffee is fantastic. This restaurant is just the best get here early because a 30 min wait after 9 is regular

We had a fun time here with our young boys. When we came for lunch on a Sunday seating was easily available. Lunch was delicious and the boys enjoyed the toys available to play with. Also our server was a hoot. Great experience, we will be back.

Great experience with a hippy happy environment. The food and service was excellent.

Great cafe with plenty of character. Food is good quality and I haven't ordered anything that wasn't delicious. Staff is friendly and appear to really enjoy working there. Be advised: There usually is a waiting list to be seated, but it's definitely worth the wait.

This is a place you have to visit if you come here, which I know seems odd with my rating. It's because the only time I go here is when someone hasn't been here, meaning I don't like it enough to be a regular, and that is the reason I have scored it as so. My favorite dish is the Moon Biscuits & Gravy, but get there early because they often are out of it. The other reason I recommend it is the decor, I dig the air cooled VW / Hippy vibe. I am not sure if there is ever a good/slow time to go here, usually wait times are about 20 minutes, although recently I have been fortunate to find seating sooner. Partys larger than 4 may be difficult but the servers are friendly & attentive. With them being busy all the time the food is always delivered hot. So, check it out, you'll most likely dig it, it's just not my favorite.
