HI Lo's 15th Street Cafe LLC

I had the special which was a hot link and cheddar cheese scramble with pan cooked( mine were burnt) potatoes and toast. My companion had the moon buiscuts and gravy( the gravy left much to be wanting and needing improvement). The atmosphere was very mellow, which is good for 8 am and just starting the day. I like their use of the back of a Volkswagen bus as the station for coffee. The wall art added a nice touch. Pricing was fair, wish they served tomato juice. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Good luck novalty restaurant.

This place was such a fun place for a brunch. Small diner-esque feel, with lots of inviting elements. "Choose your own mug", self-service coffee out of a VW bus, fun collectors items lining the walls. The service was outstanding, everyone was very friendly. We stopped by to celebrate a birthday and they brought out a fun ice-cream sandwich birthday dessert and everyone sang to us. Very special experience, this place is one for the books.

Authentic Cafe! Hi Los is a staple in our community. It's my zen, it's amazing food with great coffee and people. Call ahead to see if the VW bus is available to eat in!
Grab your own coffee cup and serve yourself out of the back of a VW bus while you wait.
Remember to turn on the Disco Switches when you potty!

Came for breakfast after 5 months of travel in Asia and found this place to be absolutely amazing all-around. The prices are exceptionally reasonable for local tastes, and on a home/job-less basis. Coffee on tap and a waiting room when fully booked was a nice touch, and services were above standards for all the staff. Delicious food and comfy atmosphere make this an excellent choice. Highly recommend!

i politely asked if any items off the menu were vegan or could be made vegan. i have been vegan for 25 years as of the point of this edit. 20 years since the review. i was ready for a simple "no" from this place. i never expect any business to have vegan options.

that was not sufficient. the server had to yell at the top of her lungs over the morning crowd that they didn't have anything vegan. after this, she proclaimed that she would ask the kitchen, and without waiting for
my response screamed across the room to the kitchen staff asking if anything could be made vegan. this clearly disrupted kitchen staff as one person stepped out with a spatula in hand and offered "maybe a bowl of fruit?" while shaking his head and rolling his eyes back dramatically and the server condescendingly said "yeah, MAYBE we can do a bowl of fruit."

i have never in my life witnessed service like this, toward myself or anyone else, and i will never forget this.

OMG...this is why I love the Northwest...unique restuarants everywhere...some chains but not many and places like this with unique decor and excellent food and staff, makes me want to keep coming back. Hiedi - the owner was so much fun, made our visit special, with her rendition of the wheels on the bus on her kazoo, made me want to start singing the song. Eating in a VW bus was cool.

Great food, low price. Atmosphere is so welcoming and fun. Everything I've been here has been nothing short of perfect. The free self serve coffee for while you wait is pretty great too. Italian sodas/hot chocolate come with whipped cream and sprinkles which is pretty stellar. Highly recommend this gem of a resturant.

Such a great place to eat! It was busy but we didn't feel like the wait was dragging or anything. They have a lovely waiting room with seats and games (a lot for kids, but they had a deck of cards to play!) Self-serve coffee which was delicious, great staff and value, and the food went way past my expectations! If we ever find ourselves in Bremerton again this is a must-have.
