Historic cute little place. Best this was the old fashion bottled coke. I ordered a Tuna casserole. They delivered it to the table very proudly. BURNT!! 🥵

Not a friendly, welcoming place. Staff was off-putting to me as a coffee + baked good only customer at 11am.
Coffee was served much too hot and way over-priced... $1.25 for alternative milk, even at the 8oz size.
On the plus side, the anise + walnut biscotti was excellent.
Given the overall experience, I would not return here. There are plenty of other places that serve good coffee & food with friendlier service.

I used to really enjoy this place, but after today I will never return or endorse them again.
This morning, I dropped my girlfriend off so she could get breakfast before work. She walked in at about 830 am, and looked at a menu and tried to order something. They told her that they weren't open until 9, even though the doors were open and people were behind the counter. But that's not really a big deal. So she said no worries, and turned around to leave. As she was walking out the door the owner of the establishment said extremely condescendingly, "Next time read the menu, sweetie."
In what world is it acceptable to talk to a potential customer like that? She hadn't given them any attitude, and literally just wanted to give them money in exchange for their products. It was a completely unnecessary comment and was incredibly rude. We have been customers for years, but that ends today. Their food isn't good enough to warrant that type of customer service.

Probably the best biscuit I have ever had in my life. I odered the brisket hash, which was great. My wife had the chanterelle confit which was equally as good. We ate there with a group of 6 and it was relatively easy to find a seat. This place is very quaint, bus your own tables and order at the counter, but we will definitely be back!

What a great little spot! A little unassuming on the outside but the inside is full of charm, personality, character, and some damn good grub. Funky decor in this cozy joint. The staff inside were very welcoming and friendly. The menu had some amazing choices, they do an excellent eggs benny! Definately worth the detour down the scenic route on the Chuckanut. I will be back for sure!!

Be prepared to wait. The lane is pretty busy. Coffee & food is was worth the wait and drive. The garden seating area was beautiful with (pear?) trees!

Cheese grits with collard greens and sausage. I died, went to heaven and came back again.
Service is friendly, if a bit (playfully) snarky. The cook takes awhile to get the food to you. And? You want fast food, go elsewhere. This is an experience to be savored.
I'll be back. Many times.
(Did I mention the peach blueberry pie? Wow! Yum!)

Awesome food, always something different on the menu. One of the best meals I've ever had. I would recommend this restaurant above all others in the area. This will be one meal that you will remember for a very long time.

I wished I had a coffee shop like that in my city, no seriously I am jealous. The food is amazing and the portion huge. Fresh veggies very well cooked. Super cool ambiance and decor. Just no cash.

Great food I came all the way from the San Joaquin Valley in central California. And absolutely love the ambiance of Tweets and the Mariposa restaurants. Anyone passing through Edison that doesn't stop and try either one of these eateries. Would truely be missing out on a great experience.
Peace and love to my two brothers and the crew.
