i was contacted by the owner about an event i had scheduled for September and was asked about cofewa providing the coffee for our event. The day of the event, contact was stopped and they never showed up to my event where coffee is one of the main proponents of the event. i wish i wouldve been contacted about not being able to make it before having spent so much money on having the facilities needed to serve coffee. Communication is key.

Everything I have tried here is fantastic. Overall, it’s definitely one of my favorite cafes/restaurants in Bellingham.
The coffee is slightly expensive but still reasonable, and it tastes great.
The sandwiches are very cheap for what you get and they’re some of the best I’ve had in Bellingham. Although they don’t always sell sandwiches if they’re too busy.
The empanadas are very good as well, but not quite as good of value as the sandwiches. Love the salsa that comes with them.

Coffee was ok, only one bean & roast option. The space is neat, but I’d rather grab a cup of boiled shoe lace water from ‘bucks and head down to the library than pay $5.50 to wait and have a wretched, condescending female barista pour hot water into a colander at my table because It’s a mandatory part of theme park ride. It’s evident there’s a market space for this product, but it’s along way off from my experience at other “boutique coffee” joints.

So glad I found this little haven. Came to do some writing and the atmosphere is perfect. The owners are very friendly and the coffee is out of this world!
