Three Ships Coffee Roasters

Every time I'm in VA Beach, I pay Three Ships a visit: everything is perfect here-- the service, coffee, food, and atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Came into Three Ships on a rainy cold Sunday morning and had a very relaxing experience with good coffee and chill vibes. Would definitely recommend stopping in here over the 46 Starbucks and other chain coffee shops in the area. Much higher quality coffee and the baristas were very warm and friendly. They serve sparking water when you order espresso and even roast beans in house! I haven’t bought the coffee because of the price though it’s pretty pricey.

Was at Neptune park and wanted to grab a coffee to go so I stopped at this one which my gps found near by. It had great reviews and the photos showed amazing looking coffees. I ordered, got in my car and when I grab my coffee it tasted really horrible, strong and burnt as well as the cup feeling extremely lightweight. I open it to see ( picture ) is what I got. I honestly did not feel like turning around to ask for a redo or something else. It was $4.07 for what I got. I refused to toss it so when I got home I mixed it with some coconut milk, a spoon of sugar and it was good enough to drink. Will not be coming back. I gave it 2 stars as the location is convenient and the decor was cute.

Great breakfast biscuits and wraps. The cappuccino was delicious. There's a good amount of indoor seating and plenty of outdoor seating as well.

FANTASTIC customer service!!🕺💃🕺🥰🎉 the ladies working were so helpful and kind as I tried to figure out what I wanted😁🤘🤘😁 my only disappointment was the price/ size😒understanding that I'm at the beach and things are higher priced, I won't go back for a second cup while I'm here🤷‍♀️.
Regardless, I would still recommend this as a good stop for super yummy coffee and amazing staff.... worth the first cup and the environment 🤙🤙🥰✌️🌼😊

I personally like to support small local business and especially coffee shops, the coffee was really good, however on the pricey side, but what really hurt this review one of the baristas.... The attitude was nasty and unnecessary, I was walking around the shop as I waited for my coffee to be made just looking around as it being the first time I have been here. As the barista called my name I let her know where I was and even said, "coming to you" I then can hear her say, "well, I'm not bringing it to you." I kind of stopped and was thinking to myself, "Really?" I got my order and was on my way.
Customer service goes a long way, and the other barista that morning was very pleasant and helpful, I worked in CS for years and being so, I hold others to a higher standard, if it weren't for that particular exchange, this review would've been either a 4 or 5 star instead.

The baristas are pleasant to chat with, the coffee and pastries are to die for! Music selection is great and matches the vibes of the shop.

Great breakfast burritos, excellent customer service and peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend.

4 drinks (Small drip, iced coffee, mocha and a latte… all the size of a normal, small drip) cost $30. I’m sorry, WHAT?! That averages $7 for a small drink! I gave a second star for the atmosphere only.

For those with an anathema for corporate coffee, this is your lighthouse in the storm.

The building's vibe and neighbors make you feel like you're part of an authentic experience there, they you really are supporting the little guy.

And boy does the little guy serve up some BIG eats. Fluffy and delicious biscuits and homemade hand pies would be reason enough to swing by, if the coffee wasn't so dialed in!
