I went to Lilly’s to get a caramel macchiato. Their staff was nice and they told me that they do not sell macchiato but rather a latte with another shot of espresso. The ambiance and decor was great as seen in the photos. I didn’t get a chance to try their specialties but I will one day.

Lily's is a cute little cafe with a variety of delicious pastries and coffees/teas. They are known for their middle eastern lockma. A lockma is basically a fried dough ball with different kinds of filling and toppings. The lockma are sold in 5, 8 or 18 piece portions. We tried the Nutella, Traditional and Ruby lockma. All three were great flavor combinations; though I am partial to the Nutella lockma. I also tried the Spanish latte and my husband tried their Carmel latte. We thoroughly enjoyed both. The decor and staff are awesome. We would definitely come back. Thanks for a great experience! :-)

Not only is Lily’s Chocolate & Coffee so aesthetically pleasing to the eye, they also have some great desserts. One dessert in particular are their famous lokma, which is an Iraqi fried pastry paired with a sweet topping They serve both hot and cold beverages and that pairs beautifully with them lokmas.

Coming from the direction of Rte 66, the shop was a little difficult to find. The shop is on the corner of a very busy intersection and its front door is situated catty-corner so you don’t really see the signage from this direction. My GPS showed I was close, so I pulled into the very small parking area and ended up navigating around the building and down a narrow alley to park across the street. What little parking there may have been at some point in time is now reappropriated for outdoor dining. The shop is definitely easier to see coming from the Tyson’s direction.

Just outside of the store are cute benches, a decorative bicycle with flowers, artificial turf so it sorta feels like a garden setting, and some outdoor bistro tables. It was a Thursday afternoon around 4pm, and there were maybe 4-5 other people seated inside the shop as I entered. Below are a few pictures of the interior, from the decorative wall of roses behind a hanging chair to the cozy tables with padded rose-colored seating.

There was just one staff member working the counter. After a few moments preparing other coffee drinks for another customer, he greeted me and I identified myself as a Yelper. I ordered their specialty, Lockmas. Although he did not offer me a choice, he stated that they are drizzled in chocolate with my choice of topping. He pointed to toppings but didn't describe what they were until I asked him. I opted for the crushed Biscoff cookie crumbles. I've never had Lockmas before, and to describe them I'd say they’re similar to donut holes or like tiny Italian zeppoles: little warm balls of fried dough, plus your toppings of choice. I indicated my order was to-go, and he placed them in a cute white box with Lily's Chocolates & Coffee printed on top along with two wooden pointy sticks to be used to poke them from the box and into my mouth! (see pics)

Perusing the drink menu, I was torn between a cardamom chai and a Turkish coffee. He recommended the Turkish coffee, which I ordered. One drawback to mention is that in the smaller cups reserved for drinks such as espressos and Turkish coffee, they didn’t have a lid or sleeve to the paper cup. He used two cups so as to insulate my hand from the scalding heat, but without a lid to my cup it was a little precarious to walk to my car across the street without spilling (especially with my kids in tow!). Hoping they’ll order sleeves and lids for all of their beverage cup sizes in the future.

The Turkish coffee was a bit different than other traditional Turkish coffee I’ve had here in the States or in Turkey itself. This one was made with a strong cardamom flavoring, which I admittedly enjoy but it was definitely different than the strong coffee bean flavor I’m used to. It did have the grounds at the bottom like a traditional Turkish coffee. It was delicious and well-executed, but I would have more appropriately labeled this as a Cardamom Turkish Coffee, much like they had with their Cardamom Chai on the menu.

All in all, I would certainly return to try other desserts and beverages. It’s a cute spot to meet a friend.

What an amazing find of a place. This modern and aesthetically pleasing cafe offers a variety of Lockma which are small fluffy sweet balls covered in different sauces/toppings. Very delicious and such a rich flavor. Owner was very nice and a very relaxing space.

Extremely disappointing. At $48/person (not including tax and tip) for afternoon tea, I expected some actual care put into their food and service.

The first red flag should have been when I couldn't get a hold of an actual set menu either by phone or online. When I called it was explained that we would get 3 sandwiches, scones, an assortment of pastries, and lockma at the end but with no more detail than that. Even in person, the only person working the front couldn't explain anything. Once we were seated, he immediately gave us a pot of black tea. We weren't given any options at all for choosing our own. We weren't given any options for choosing milk (one friend is lactose intolerant) or sandwiches either (another friend doesn't eat fish, and one of the sandwiches was smoked salmon). The server refilled our tea when asked, but was otherwise pretty inattentive. Didn't even ask if we wanted water or anything. Another silly thing was that the tiered tray wasn't screwed together all the way so the plates were off-kilter and I had to tighten it myself. Why would you serve it that way??

The second red flag was the scones. They were super bready, not at all the right texture, and the way the layers separated made us 99% sure they were just Pillsbury biscuits. They were served with jars of generic jam, no clotted cream or lemon curd like you'd normally expect. The "scones" made us suspicious of the other food: we were pretty sure the croissants for the salmon sandwiches were from Costco based on the squishy texture, and even more convinced because the macarons matched the colors, size, and flavors of the holiday pack of Costco macarons. The madeleines were very dry, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were also a bulk buy.

The only dish I did enjoy and that seemed to be made fresh was the lockma at the end. We were able to choose multiple flavors, which was fun, so one star for that. The other star is for the cute pink aesthetic of the place.

Tl;dr just take your insta photos and go eat elsewhere

$12 for 5 lockmas. I love supporting small businesses and I understand they are trying to elevate a traditionally very cheap and casual ethnic donut but this is insane crazy. Was it good? Of course (thus 3 stars), fried fresh stuffed with chocolate, and very sweet (i got pistachio). Was it worth $2.50 per bite? I might as well fly to Egypt or Turkey and get these bad boys as it would probably be more cost effective. #supportsmallbusinesses

After a big meal, you have to go this place for a new experience in desert. A 5 chocolate lockma with Chai latte, so tasty.

Aesthetics alone are worth coming here BUT don't be fooled. it's more than just looks. I hosted my first ever content creator event here in 2022 and now my 2nd one this year 2023 as a high tea party. They have delightful selection of beverages and the lockmas are to dieeeee for. I highly reccomend stopping here for a pastry and coffee even if you're taking it to go, it really is a great Café run by phenomenal people.
It's a small pink Café so keep that in mind, about 10 tables inside and a few outdoord as well. I reccomend booking a high tea party for any ladies groups, Bachelorette, birthdays..etc
Overall my favourite vienna Café and I look forward to being back soon.

Cute little place but service is yuk.
I placed the order but when I was about to made the payment the lady went back. I wanted to try and add some lockma.
She was gone for more than 15 min around 7:45 or 7:40, you can see me in your camera 🎥

When the lady came back with the sandwich. She put it on top of glass counter. Well this is my first time so she should mentioned that the sandwich on the counter is yours or something like that. I had to ask is that for me.

Lockma was delicious.
Veggie cheese sandwich was just cucumber. I don’t know whether it was suppose to be full veggie sandwich or just cucumber sandwich.

Beside customer service, everything was else was great.
Nice little place with tasty lockma

But not coming back again with this service.
This place deserves more recognition but customer service has to improve.

A another lady waited for 5 min while we were there. No one came outside to greet her.
