It is a bit pricey if you don't have a Capital One card. The hot coffee was just alright, nothing special. The iced coffee was definitely one of the better ones I have had in the area.

This place is the best. It's so lively and lovely, and omg their fruit tea shakers are the BEST. It's a indulgence, without costing like an indulgence. The staff is always so sweet and kind, even when they're busy, which to me is a mark of great people. They really take the time to make every experience awesome. And plus, they have staff who can talk to you about a capital one card BUT won't bother or hunt you down to sign you up (that being said, it's a great card in my experience).
What a treat!!!

Capital One is everything a bank should be, they are professional, and kind. Everyone there is so welcoming and they really make you feel like an important person, Cassidy is very professional, she was beyond our expectations. I highly recommend this branch!

This past Saturday we met some family at Short Pump to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. After walking around in the 95 degree heat we decided to chill out in the Capital One Cafe like we have many times before. We were warmly greeted by a lovely young man who offered us the use of a large table. He graciously comped our drinks and congratulated my daughter on her birthday. He stopped by several times to ask if we needed anything. We did offer him a piece of birthday cake in return but he politely declined. He then gave us all a bag of goodies in honor of mental health awareness month. We mentioned my daughter is a mental health counselor. Little did he know that mental health issues affect many in our family. It was nice to be acknowledged, but it’s also important Capital One and their employees are supporting such an important cause. I would like to thank that young man for his kindness, compassion, and generosity.

Ellie at this cafe saved the day for me. I was trying to transfer money from an old Cap One savings account to a Truist business account and couldn’t do it online. Ellie greeted me at the cafe and gave some really helpful suggestions. I went to Truist but they couldn’t help so came back to Ellie because I didn’t know where else to go. She sat me down and patiently walked me through the wire process and helped me complete the transaction. She was patient, pleasant, and knowledgeable. I worked for Cap One for 20 years and left in 2015 and am glad to see young people like Ellie are continuing to uphold the company’s reputation.

The three capital one cafe folks that work here are self proclaimed "very loud" to the point of playing musical chairs/uno around the entire cafe area. Too loud to get work done but probably a good place to bring kids.
Update: After I posted this a gentleman working out of the cafe tried to provide very upfront and respectful feedback to the capital one employees, asking them to be more aware of people working in the cafe bc he said it felt like a yogurt shop where kids hangout vs a cafe where people can get work done (I couldn't agree more). One of the capital one employees asked if he could give the customer feedback (The customer said no) and the women working here told the man to take it up with the manager bc it was their job to play games with the customers that came in. She also laughed at the customer and said this was not a library.
Needless to say, I will not be coming back to work out of this cafe.

Came in on a Sunday visit looking for a cool drink and was greeted by an incredibly kind employee. Mentioned that I was going to be working at Capital One in the fall and they gave me a warm welcome to the Capital One family and offered my girlfriend and I free free drinks! This made our day and we will definitely be back!

A mediocre coffee shop pretending to have anything to do with a bank. Since this appears to be the only brick and mortar location for Capital One anywhere near Richmond (a city where a major Cap One headquarters is located), I went there with the intent of depositing some cash. Turns out that’s not something they can do for a Capital One account holder without their debit card! Hey, look me up and do a deposit, like any real bank can do! This “cafe” is no better than an ATM machine. I’m not sure what other banking services this location can offer, but if they can’t handle a simple cash deposit, then you might as well go to Starbucks….

Nice service, Cassidy in particular was very kind and helped with depositing a check and answered all of our questions.
