Relaxing music with soft lights. A very peaceful and relaxing vibe. Great place for meeting up with people or just to sit back and relax with some good coffee and your laptop.
Also a beautiful place that can be rented for events!!

The viiiiibbbeee is so good here. It’s like a Danish coffee shop and a Santa Fe boutique hotel had a baby. This place features an instagram-worthy entrance with a patio and a large indoor space with plenty of natural light and hung amber light bulbs for that “hygge” feel. The tables are large enough to host a wide range of activities with outer ones having the most electrical outlets and the furniture is modern but comfortable.
Coffee is some of the best in Lynchburg, if not the surrounding area. They use what seems like a medium/light roast espresso blend resulting in fruity floral notes instead of the dark chocolaty flavor used by most coffee shops, including Starbucks. And they actually have good oat milk (Oatly, though I do prefer Califia Farms Barista).
Lastly, the one thing I think could be improved is the range and quality of baked goods. The double chocolate scone I had was packaged by Purple Door Gourmet Kitchen & Catering and was quite dry and kinda squishy, similar to something you might find in the pastry aisle of a grocery store.
But overall, as someone who lives on the west coast, this is one of the best coffee shops I’ve been to in a while and one I’d be at daily if I lived in Lynchburg.

Pleasantly surprised that they have gluten free baked goods, if you ask. The chocolate chip muffin was a bit dry though.
My daughter had a cappuccino, which tasted amazing! Best one I’ve had in Lynchburg. I had the blue lagoon, which was really good, too.
They do not offer decaffeinated espresso based drinks.

Beautiful coffee shop with lots of seating in a comfortable atmosphere! The space is really well designed, optimizing space for people to be comfortable and productive. The coffee was delicious, especially the miele latte since it wasn’t too sweet. The thematic design is beautiful and combines natural earth tones with minimalist design to make guests feel comfortable and welcomed. I imagine this will be a hit for college students in the area with all the seating and great coffee. It’s an awesome spot in a convenient location and I will be back for sure!

The very first thing you'll notice about this coffee shop is the aesthetic. The vibe is western-chic with some Mexican inspiration. The coffee is intense and worth the price. I bought a caramel latte and the espresso did overpower the flavor of the latte a bit, but I prefer that personally. I think from this latte alone this is easily one of the best coffee shops in Lynchburg.

TONS of seating and so much natural light. My assistant and I come here to work once a week and it’s a great place to get things done! The espresso and iced coffee are my go to drinks.

My favorite coffee shop in Lynchburg! Absolutely love the place. It’s large, has plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor), and the baristas are incredibly friendly and helpful. Even though they have a small drinks menu and very little food; what they do have is well prepared. The pour over coffee does have a bit more of an acidic flavor then I normally like, but the ice coffee is beautiful!
The atmosphere is beautiful. It’s been pretty full whenever I have been there, but the noise levels have been very quiet. An amazing place to work or study.

There is a lot of seating and off street parking. The coffee is made well and the prices are reasonable.
I returned in mid December and if you are looking for a place to get a latte in under 20 minutes. This is not the place for you. Ordered at 10:38 received drink at 10:58. Not that busy. But atmosphere is good if you want to chill and do work.

La Vida has a fun, open aesthetic with tons of seating and table space, adequate outlets for charging laptops and other devises, and a minimalist, southwestern vibe that is unique to the Lynchburg area.
I had a honey cinnamon latte, and it was delicious. The syrup was their own, and it was very flavorful, but not too sweet. The outdoor seating area was beautiful, and very quiet considering how close to the road it is. The corn hole boards are a fun touch!
Highly recommend stopping by and trying out La Vida. It’s not like any other Lynchburg coffee shop, and definitely worth a try.

Really nice employees, though there are some cons about this place. You need to make sure your things are charged because the likeliness of you sitting near a plug are low. Some of the regulars are nice while some of the others aren’t. Just be wary! Nice atmosphere though
