Sandy Pony Donuts & Açaí Bowls

Incredible donuts - similar to Fractured Prune in Ocean City (but better!). We felt safe eating here with a severe tree nut allergy as there are no tree nuts on the menu other than Nutella for the acai bowls, which we were assured was stored separately. Donuts were hot and delicious!

I was SO looking forward to these donuts leading up to my vacation. I knew exactly what I wanted from looking online. I ordered a dozen and a half. The staff was super sweet. I worked at a made to order donut shop in my town so I know how it can be sometimes. I was so very disappointed in these donuts though. We ended up throwing nearly half of them away. They were just saturated in grease. When you broke open the donuts they were half full of grease. The boxes were awful. I couldn’t eat a whole donut in one sitting. I’m a big donut person. On vacation I will go get donuts at least three times a week for breakfast because why not? It’s vacation! After eating one of them I was cured of that for this trip. Three stars because the staff was so incredibly sweet and the location was great and I love the concept, but please please work on the donuts and grease. Let them sit longer. Don’t let them pile up on one another. Something. Anything. I’ll try again next time if I’m ever in the area again. :) *edit. And banana is my favorite. The banana Oreo has noooooo banana flavor whatsoever. So the one donut I did get to eat tasted like just dried Oreos on a greasy piece of cake. I was very sad.

Arrived just after they opened on a Saturday morning. Waited almost an hour and a half for just a dozen donuts. Waited outside in the bugs and summer sun because the porch doesn't offer shade. It doesn't matter if the food is the best thing you've ever tasted, it's not worth it.

Mango bubble tea, a Porky Pony, and a Charlie Brown; the makings for a perfect morning! Fresh and hot, worth every penny, calorie, and minute spent waiting for them!

Fresh donuts! Lots of flavors. Get there early.

Great donuts made fresh. Acai bowls are good too. They do smoothies as well

Can’t speak to the donuts, but the service is great and I appreciated that they carry açaí bowls. It was a nice treat on a hot day (especially since I don’t eat ice cream), though a bit sweeter than I was expecting.

Suuuper fresh donuts! They make them to order so they’re nice and hot! And if you feel like you need something a little healthier they have acai bowls and fruit smoothies. I got the acai and banana smoothie which was nice and refreshing.

This place is about donuts, not about sitting and socializing. And donuts are amazing! Tasty, warm and melting in your mouth. They are the most tasty donuts I have ever had. If you like donuts, it's a must spot to go when you are on the island.

Decent flavor of the actual donut but they are very small & very overpriced at $1.50 per donut. The glaze & toppings(which are minimal) slide completely off the donuts because they are too hot when they try to apply the icing/glaze. Tried once but certainly won't again.
