Channel Bass Inn Bed & Breakfast - Restaurant

Best food on the island. We also stayed at the Inn. They have a hard working staff. You will not be disappointed.

I stayed at Channel Bass Inn with my husband and my dog, Stella, for 8 nights. The place reminded me of a beautiful English house. The room was comfortable, clean and well decorated. David and Barbara were very accommodating and kind. Their breakfasts were such a treat! Barbara put so much care and love to them. The Inn was conveniently located. Easily accessible to must-see places in Chincoteague Island. Being able to borrow beach towels, chairs and boogie boards etc were great, too!

Barbara and her husband were quite lovely. She gave me directions from Richmond and had a doggie biscuit for my pup. Also gave me tips on what to see and where to go. Wished I could have stayed longer. Breakfast was really nice and I hear the tea service is quite spectacular

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Channel Bass Inn. Barbara and David are extremely gracious hosts, and Barbara's expertise with meals is exceptional, to put it mildly. We enjoyed afternoon tea, which was an experience in itself. I can't recommend the Channel Bass Inn highly enough. You will enjoy your stay there and will have lasting, fond memories of the experience.

Our room was one of the smaller but was just so packed full of character we absolutely fell in love! The bed sleep better than our custom bed at home, the decor made me feel like I found a time machine. Being raised by my Grandparents put a whole extra layer of nostalgic feelings. Food was beyond amazing the course and portions made us lay down for a day LMAO!! With that said only change would be to offer an Adventure Course for those looking to be more active with the new ownership hopefully this idea is well recieved and can add to the bottom line as we plan on making this a Family Tradition..THANK YOU GUYS AND TO THE BEST STAFF WE ASKED FOR NOTHING..AS ALL WAS PROVIDIED!! :-)

Owner operator's, Barbara and David are wonderful people they treated us and other guest like we were family. The Inn was furnished beautifully and our room on third floor was perfect, and in the mornings Barbara n David would put together a wonderful breakfast for us and others.
My wife and I highly recommend staying with these fine folks and their lovely B&B!!

While vacationing on the cute, quaint and peaceful island of Chincoteague Island VA I decided on a bed & breakfast. Channel Bass inn. This was my first time at a B&B. The inn is clean and tastefully decorated. The grounds are beautiful with flowers every where. There is also a little pond with a bridge where the ducks come to cool off. The grounds are all shaded to beat
the heat and the sun. The meals prepared by the owner herself were delicious!! All freshly made. Fresh fruits, jams bagels, scones, eggs, coffee, tea large portions. She does a gluten free menu on request. The Inn is located downtown within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and waterfront. Chincoteague Island beach and wild pony reserve a short drive. Nice coffee shop on corner of Main St. Nice Ice cream parlor with many different flavors of ice cream a short walk. Very convenient location. The owners are very accommodating they make you feel like home. They are also pet friendly!!! Will definitely go back!! Loved it! 💝💝💝

Make time and a reservation for tea in the Tea Room. What an impeccable Inn. My teen son and I enjoyed perfect Earl Grey served by owner Barbara in her mother's tea set--she is such a warm and diligent host I fell thoroughly in love. Her very English garden and cozy and refined tea room was another world utterly; we were delighted and charmed by lovely sandwiches and homemade scones and dessert course and cups of perfect tea. Thank you so much for a magical afternoon.

Channel Bass Inn was the best! We got a great deal for the 5 star ⭐️ 🌟 🌟 ⭐️ ⭐️ treatment! They greatly accommodated for our dietary restrictions. The breakfast was delicious.

Can't say enough good things about this place. The breakfast and hospitality are amazing. We brought our dog and felt very welcome the entire time. I would highly recommend staying there. My wife and I will definitely staying again!
