Channel Bass Inn Bed & Breakfast - Restaurant

Vacationed at Chincoteague as a kid and always wanted to share it with my husband. We booked 3 nights at the B&B end of July 2021. It was delightful. Room was cozy and clean, location was walking/biking distance from attractions (they have bikes you can use instead of renting from another place, so convenient!). We did not have much beach gear, but the B&B had a room full of umbrellas, chairs, and coolers for use during the stay! (Super convenient!!) They accommodated my vegan lifestyle by making vegan pancakes and sausages! Coffee was out by 7am every morning with compostable to-go cups! This will forever be my go-to place to stay!

We absolutely loved our four-night stay at the Channel Bass Inn. The Inn is beautifully decorated and each breakfast was a feast of delicious, home-made pastries and other sweet treats, as well as savory dishes. We got to meet and chat with lots of guests in addition to our very welcoming hosts. Barbara and David gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and even helped with making reservations. Do not miss the opportunity to have afternoon tea – the sandwiches, scones and whatever other surprises may be on the menu are amazing!

My wife and I stayed at the Channel Bass Inn B&B this past week and loved it! Barbara and David were great and the breakfast was amazing. We highly recommend going to one of their tea times as well. Barbara also helped us with restaurant and activity recommendations and bookings. They were also very accommodating to our dog and even had some homemade treats for her!

We had breakfast this morning at the Channel Bass Inn. The food was delicious starting with the coffee, scones, and continuing to the main course. Service was exceptional. Thank you for a memorable experience.

The owners and staff were great, very clean and welcoming. Food was wonderful. We will go back.

We had an excellent stay at the Channel Bass Inn. We felt very comfortable bringing our children and dog to this lovely inn. We really enjoyed sitting in the garden, observing the local cats and ducks. The breakfast was amazing, roasted peaches on homemade waffles, wow. We booked last minute to extend our stay in Chincoteague by a day and this was the perfect capstone to a wonderful vacation.

We had a great experience at the Channel Bass Inn - Barbara and David are wonderful hosts. Breakfast was very good each day. We had afternoon tea one day which was well worth the extra money. There were some very interesting people also staying there who we enjoyed talking with and getting to know. Our room had no A/C and no ceiling fan - but that was not a problem in early May when we were there - just opened the windows and let the breeze through!

Only got to stay here one night, but they were absolutely the kindest hosts ever. I arrived late past normal check-in time, but Barbara was very accommodating and made sure she'd be available to take me in. I had to also check out very early and she was bummed out I wouldn't be able to enjoy the included breakfast, so she wrapped up some homemade cinnamon loaf and a sandwich for me. Was like staying with family. Very cozy!

I stayed at the Channel Bass Inn for Pony Swim week. It was my best bed and breakfast experience ever! My room was charming. Barbara and David are exceptional inn keepers - warm and inviting. Their central location on the Island made sightseeing very convenient. The breakfasts were DELICIOUS and afternoon tea delightful. I can't wait to go back!

My husband and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend with family and we loved it. The rooms were clean and the breakfast delicious. Barbara and Dave made a different breakfast every morning and everything was delicious. They had a collection of beach chairs, beach toys, coolers, etc. for guests' complimentary use. They kept a refrigerator stocked with water bottles for guests to take. The inn is centrally located by main street and within walking distance to many restaurants and stores. We'll definitely be staying here again!
