This cafe may be little but it has big personality! It’s the perfect mix of intimate and warm energy combined with professionalism, a good menu and staff. We loved the greenery and look of the place too!

The Oakhurst Inn Café & Espresso Bar is quaint! Customer service is good; an employee is kind and helps me understand a Vegan option (not too many Vegan and/or gluten free options). The Vegan South Range Burger is good; every bite is flavorful, juicy, and the burger stays together. The sauce on the salad tastes good with both the burger and salad (which tastes really good). The establishment has outdoor and indoor seating areas. The establishment takes different forms of payment.

Wonderful Sunday brunch with grand marnier french toast and eggs! We appreciated the requirement for reservation and didn’t feel overcrowded in the intimate dining rooms. Clean, attractive interior with homey feel.

Food was good. Coffee was trash.

Food: The Farm Sandwich and the Waffles were delicious. I was worried that the sandwich would be too heavy when I read the ingredients, but it was well made, well-portioned, and well-balanced. I would recommend that or the waffles if you’re feeling the sweeter side that morning. I didn’t get the garlic fries but someone else got them and they smelled soo good - I’d definitely try them.

Coffee: I was disappointed. I’m a coffee lover and was excited to see that this place called itself an espresso bar. Sadly, the coffee that I got tasted terrible, and the milk started curdling inside the drink until it completely separated. I had to ask them to take it back. I took a picture earlier, but didn’t want to share the photo after the coffee sat there for 2 mins because it looked gross.

Overall, I wouldn’t come with high expectations for the coffee, but the food is good. Interesting, antique ambiance and outdoor seating available.

It's a small house that was retrofitted to a restaurant. It's got a quaint cute vibe and outside better than the inside on a good day. Not like fancy but it's good really good brunch. Love the scones and egg sandwich. Coffee drinks also good. We come back often and will continue to do so

Not the way we would have chosen to spend our 25th wedding anniversary brunch.

You may ask, "why a 2 when everyone else rates it higher." Well, had it been need solely upon the food it likely would have been a four or five but the experience drops it down. It isn't that the online menu doesn't reflect the menu we were given, such is life, I suppose, full of disappointment. It has more to do with being drenched by a pitcher of creamer (bring delivered to another table) and winding up wearing it all over my face and clothes, especially my jacket. Granted mistakes happen but except for the person who covered me in creamer no one else seemed to care, not even other staff.
I remained silent while being the butt of other customers joking jibes and used a towel supplied to try to clean myself off. "It happens" I told my self and the person who had the accident.
What disappointed me was when the bill came it was for the full amount. No apology or consideration. My wife actually approached our server and brought the topic up and the server seemed surprised she would bring it up. Ultimately we were given a 10% discount, $4.37. not even enough to cover the dry cleaning bill. So if you go there enjoy the food but dress like you are going to a Gallagher watermelon smash. Just to be on the safe side.

I really enjoy staying here; it’s a lovely location and all of the staff are so kind and helpful. There are no fridges in the rooms (which actually might be nice to not have that appliance noise, it’s all super quiet and peaceful) but the staff will keep your items in a fridge for you to pick up. I’ve been here a few times and will definitely come back!

Amazing brunch and some of the best coffee in Charlottesville. I had the duck hash special and it was fantastic, eggs were perfectly cooked! Probably best to make a reservation if you're going during weekend brunch.

Food was wonderful. Huge portions, unique and bold flavors.

Dinning area was spaced out for social distancing, but a little odd (one table was right next to both the back door and the service station, which made it gratingly loud so we moved).

Service was fast, albeit slightly rushed.

The coffee was decent. Wouldn’t call it craft coffee, more like coffee shop coffee.

Enjoyable, and we will be back next time we’re in town.

Also, if you prefer to eat outside, call ahead as those tables are reserved. We just walked in and sat inside with no wait on a Sunday mid morning.

Secret sort of place tucked away and looking like a house .
Great coffee and friendly staff. Outside seating during good weather. Several 'cozy' tables scattered around the house. Really good vibe.
Highly recommend.
