Nicaraguan rice & beans with steak and onions & FRIED CHEESE! Delicious.
Try the Cuban sandwich.

Bright and happy blue and rustic wood wallpaper & creative industrial furnishings made by the owner! So neat.

•complimentary cucumber rosemary infused water. Amazing.
•plantain chips & house made salsa! Delightfully tasty.
•fresh-squeezed limeade which you can mix pineapple juice into for a yummy flavor combo.
•homemade hot sauce!

Guajiros was recommended by my dentist in Ashland, VA. We decided to stop in on our trip to Charlottesville. WORTH THE DRIVE!!! I don't like pork or Swiss and the "El cubano" is amazing. It tastes warm and fresh at the same time. The vibe is super relaxed and the staff were all super friendly. The cashier explained a wait on one item in our order up front rather than leaving us hanging. Crisp items were crisp, seasoning was spot on, and it was a great to experience this food this far north. Parking is rough because of the small lot but it was worth it all especially since they are reasonably priced. We didn't leave hungry but are sad we moved so far away. We WILL be back!

I absolutely loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Lots of plants and artwork everywhere and the food was freaking fantastic. I had the huevos guajiros and it reminded me a lot of chilaquiles but sooooo much more flavorful!
It's a shame I'm only visiting Charlottesville but I will DEFINITELY be back at least one more time!

I just had a great Saturday lunch. We had a Cuban (5 starts), pulled pork tostones rellenos and a steal sandwich. The sandwiches were very large and filling. The cuban sandwich was the best. Next time I'm going to try the pulled pork. Extra points for the kiwi pineapple and mint water.

This place is fantastic! Something totally different along Rte. 29. We stopped for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and enjoyed the El Cubano and Pan con Pollo, each sandwich is pressed on Cuban bread and served with a side of plantain chips. The El Cubano had ham, seasoned pork, swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard. The Pan con Pollo was chopped chicken breast, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pink sauce. Both sandwiches were spot on! Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. Definitely trying the fried cheese and a Cafe con Leche (Cuban Latte) on a return visit. They serve breakfast all day as well.

Food was amazing. The service was great, too. Staff came by just the right amount to check on us without being too frequent.

Try the cucumber/dill/serrano hot sauce.

Since I first heard about this place I wanted to check it out and it didn’t disappoint. Nice cozy atmosphere and super friendly staff. Went with the El Cubano and it was fantastic. Bread was perfect and the meat/pickles were on point. Can’t wait to come back and try the other items on the menu and breakfast.

This place is fantastic. Decor is great, staff is bright and friendly and loves to talk about their craft. The Cubano and Bean and Cheese Burrito were delicious.

Delicious comfort food, the hands on breakfast is the best breakfast tin c-vile. Great caffeinated beverages. Lovely people who remember customers and treat them with a friendly and professional nature. I love this place so much and am a regular
