We *love* Guajiros! Particularly their breakfasts. Staff is uniformly friendly and helpful. The art upstairs is fun.

Had to try the Cuban to start on the first visit, and did not disappoint. Can't wait to come back. And the cafe con leche was perfect.

This place is a must!! I highly recommend it for breakfast to get a Cuban coffee or just anytime! As a native Floridian, its 100% the Miami food we grew up on. All the staff was friendly and it felt like they were all owners on how attentive everyone was. Highly recommend.

My new fav breakfast space! They open at 8am for the best seating. Excellent Americano, cuban breakfast and super friendly service. Breakfast runs about $10. Perfect.

Incredible food, absolutely delicious. The Hands On Breakfast (burrito) was one of the best things I've eaten in Cville in a long time. Loved the plantain chips, and the guava/creme cheese pastelito for dessert. Wow.
Superior service, extremely reasonable prices, and really fun vibes/decor. This is a must-go if you like Cuban food, and if you haven't tried it, make this your first stop!

The Wife and I had been craving a cuban sandwich for a while, so while on a road trip we found Guajiros and decided to stop in and give it a try. I can say that we both agreed everything about the experience was fantastic. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The food was everything we wanted it to be and more. You really can't go wrong with a jem like this. I just wish we lived closer so we could go more often.

Went there for lunch with my wife today. We both had the Cuban sandwich and an order of sweet plantains (maduros). The sandwich was pretty good. I'm from Miami and have eaten Cuban sandwiches my entire life so I know what a Cuban sandwich is supposed to taste like. The amount of ham and pork was good, the bread (although not authentic Cuban bread) was nice and hot and pressed like it should be but the bread should have had melted butter on the outside. It had an adequate amount of mustard and pickles and Swiss cheese. The maduros were excellent, we thought they were cooked just right and it was a very nice portion (unlike another Kuban restaurant in Richmond). And finally, we ended our lunch with a Cuban coffee. And this was done right!! Unlike that Kuban restaurant in Richmond, this Cuban coffee was served hot, and sweet. Cuban coffee is supposed to have sugar and be sweet, and it was absolutely on point. The service was friendly and prompt.
We will definitely be back to try other dishes.

We were in cville for a long weekend and ended up coming here every day. One day was for lunch and the awesome Cuban sandwich. The next was for great coffee. Day 3 had us come back for breakfast. So good!!!!

This is a one of a kind restaurant in Charlottesville. The owner is wonderful, the other staff is wonderful. I can't sing the praises of this restaurant enough. Anything I have ever eaten at Guajiros is delicious. I have been there to eat multiple times and the food is always fabulous. If you have not been you are missing out.

The food was SO good, every dish we ordered knocked it out of the park. We got the El Cubano sandwich (10/10), Tostones Rellenos (9/10), and the beignets (10/10). The flavors and textures were both brilliant. We plan to visit every time we pass by the area!
