Through and through lovely experience. The food, EL NACIONAL, CUBANO ESPECIAL, and BEIGNETS exceeded expectations. The food was well arranged, well prepared, and extremely tasty. This is an absolutely perfect breakfast/brunch. Also, don't miss the deserts and lovely coffee drinks.
The staff was friendly and created a very welcoming and cheerful atmosphere.

Great spot, we usually go for breakfast but everything is good, the food and the coffee. Juevos Rancheros and a cortadito (or two) is my go-to. The people are really nice there and it's family friendly. They have Calvin and Hobbes books, toys, games and a classic SNES we played while we were waiting for our take out order. My 8-year old said "wow, this is a great place, we should come here at least four times a month" and my 5-year old absolutely housed the avocado toast.

Favorite restaurant in town! We love the cafe con leche and the breakfast bowl. 10/10 you need to come here

Breakfast knocked my socks off. Such a great way to start the day. Make sure to try the hot sauces.

We are not local to Charlottesville, but this was our second time eating here. We considered sharing the mamas lunch meal, but I’m sure glad we didn’t. If you are at all hungry, there’s no way you would want to share. Also, $15 for the mama’s special felt pricey after seeing the small plate. Just pointing this out in case you are considering sharing. Good food though. Cafe con leche was on point.

I've always grabbed to go, but the food is always fantastic. I've had a wide variety of menu items-breakfast & lunch, all were delicious. I especially love the tostones & plantain chips. The Cuban sandwich is excellent, & if you're really hungry, order the especial version. Overall 5 stars.

A piece of home. I grew up in Miami (Kendall), Florida and this place is a piece of home. I am so thankful to have it here. The food is an excellent taste of Miami/Cuban food and is a must try for anyone in Charlottesville. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is homey and warm. Give Guajiros a try!

I can't think of a single negative thing to say about Guajiros. They have it going on, forreal-forreal. Have you seen the new digs on Main Street? It's a total aesthetic daydream! Every inch of the space screams for attention on social media.

The customer service is unmatchable. I see one of the owners almost every time I visit and he is THE BEST! I hear him help newbies navigate the menu over and over and he never loses his enthusiasm. I was that newbie once and he patiently explained the menu, got a feel for my palate and offered recommendations.

The food is delicious, very affordable and the portions are extremely generous. I love that you can get breakfast all day. The sandwiches are to die for. Not just the filling, but the bread is A++! You can't make a visit without getting the highly coveted queso frito. Omg. This is where you discover that fried cheese does not need to breaded or battered, it just needs to a little dip in some chipotle honey aioli. If you haven't had it, you need to go NOW.

I'm also in love with their drinks. I had their version of an Arnold Palmer on my last two visits, which was a combination of their housemade limeade and .... something hibiscus, I think? All I know for sure is that it's extra refreshing. They also have some of the best coffee I've ever tasted. The iced cafe is totally craveable. They have oat milk too, which makes me a happy camper.

10/10 recommend going here and going often.

Great restaurant for Miami style Cuban food. The Cuban is always delicious and the service has always been perfect everytime we go. A must stop for those visiting Charlottesville!
