My favorite coffee in the DC area by far. They have really gotten their COVID safe protocols down to a science. I ordered online picked up my coffee within 5 minutes and walked across the street to the dog park.

Best coffee in the DMV hands down. Lots of selections of beans. They also have featured special espresso drinks every so often and they are always on point. Friendly staff that are always very knowledgeable about the beans they carry.

Was excited to try their coffee because of the great reviews and always seems busy..Just tried it for the first time and was disappointed. It tasted like warm milk with coffee. Nothing special about it at all. Sadly won't be going there again and wouldn't recommend. Starbucks is over priced but taste better.

I have never really been a coffee person, not being fond of warm drinks. The nitro cold brew though has captured my interest.I've recently started trying the local coffee spots to find my favorites. At this point I have tapped most of the coffee shops in Alexandria and I can say that Swing's was far and above the top when it came to Nitro Cold Brew. Smooth, flavorful, great head when poured and just delicious

I'm a tea drinker, so I can't speak to the coffee, but I really like this place. Selection of tea is fantastic. Especially if you are avoiding sugar. The place is lovely. I like the decor, it's nice for a chat. Staff is fabulous. Easy walk from Braddock metro via the bike path.

Love Swings! Love to come here on the weekends. It has that spacious airy industrial vibe! I’m very picky about cappuccinos and I love how they make theirs the ‘real’ way- not too much milk. Good ratio of espresso to milk and it’s a very smooth froth! Sometimes I feel the temperature of the cappuccino could be a bit hotter... although I know that it is very important to not overheat/burn the milk (which many coffee shops do) so that’s probably why it’s often at a lower temperature and it tastes so good, so there’s probably a very fine line between getting it just hot enough without burning it which creates a bitter taste. Excellent atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and baristas and excellent espresso coffees.

Visited here for the first time and loved the atmosphere! The americano that I purchased was delicious! It is really neat that you can see them roasting & grinding their own coffee in the background and it seems like they offer free public classes on coffee and coffee flavors, which I will definitely have to check out! I will for sure be back!

I would definitely come back here. There's this really homey, rustic ambiance, the staff is frendly, and my Nitro Latte was great.

Hands down best coffee in the neighborhood! Right across the street from a dog park so convenient place to stop in the morning on your way to the park. Staff is very friendly and they also have great blueberry muffins. Highly recommend!

Local coffee roaster. They always have many different roasts. The variety is great. The roasts tend to be on the lighter end of the spectrum. The roasts also tend to be on the more floral/fruity/tary side. If you get an espresso drink, I definitely recommend getting a single origin as I like it better than the standard blend. The one downer, almost every time I go, it's super crowded inside. Getting a seat can be an issue.
