I called before 8:00am and asked to speak w/a Supervisor or Manager, and the woman on the phone laughed at me. She told me "it's too early for that". REALLY? I was calling because a patron picking up a catering order was double parked on the main road blocking traffic. The woman on the phone proceeded to tell me that they don't have parking, they don't own the parking lot behind them, and my favorite...WELCOME TO THE STATE OF VERMONT! Robert Watson...you should be ashamed of the behavior of your employees. The snotty lack of customer service will cause me NOT to enter your establishment - and certainly tell my friends, family, neighbors and co-workers, of the State of Vermont not to bother!

Wotta delight. My first time in downtown Montpelier, and this place, a couple blocks from the capitol, with a delightful menu --- breakfast and lunch/sandwiches, all beautifully made --- and darned inexpensive too.
Highly recommended.

Classic VT hippie/hipster/politico coffee/tea/sprouts spot smack dab in the governmental progressive enclave of Montpelier VT, aka Bernieville. Good music, ok food, spacey staff and wonderful cafeinated libations. Take a seat and watch the people and the river roll by as you become awake!

I went for lunch with my husband and was pleasantly surprised by their food offerings, of course the hot drinks are awesome too. Good, local food and drinks in a friendly cafe atmosphere in downtown.
