Nothing that you don't love about this typical Montpelier Cafe. Great vibe, great food. Good coffee, meet your legislators if you're lucky to catch them on break. Easy to forget time if your eating inside.

A crowded place on Saturday afternoon. The lattes were very good, and the veggie quiche was one of the best we've ever had. The egg was fluffy and flavorful. And the crust was amazingly flakey. Just delightful!

Update: (Still the) best coffee shop in Vermont! The food is awesome and the staff are amazing.

Our favorite stop to grab breakfast when we are headed out of state! We always stop by to grab lattes and bfast sandwiches Togo.

This place was the perfect stop when we arrived in Montpelier. We stopped by for a cold brew and iced tea — thanks for starting our day off right!

Got some coffee and sandwiches to take on our train ride to New York. Both were delicious and the crowd made for good local Vermont people watching. A bit of a long wait as they are quite popular, but worth it.

Great coffee and breakfast foods - but often quite crowded. Love the new expansion, that helps a lot!

Capitol Grounds offers freshly roasted and ground 802 Coffee any way you like it, as well as hot chocolate and a wide assortment of teas, fruit smoothies and freshly squeezed lemonade. Three varieties of plant based milk available! Many breakfast and lunch options as well as assorted fresh pastries and cookies. Eat in or take out right on State Street in Montpelier....the Capitol of Vermont:)

Small, well done cafe. Great coffee and tea options. Breakfast was fresh, muffins made with love. Highly recommend!
