Delicious food, large portions for the money and wonderful helpful friendly staff. Offers indoor and outdoor seating options, child and dog friendly. I'm definitely going back.

I really wish I did not have to leave this review. When this restaurant was on Pearl Street my boys would come home from California and insist that we go there for breakfast or lunch. It had a fun vibe busy funky with great food in big portions. I went there today to their new place for lunch with a very good friend who paid and left a $5 bill for a tip. She paid for lunch I had to Demeter omelette. My omelette which was good but I received about 15 home fries that were barely warm. That would have been OK except my friend ordered a Reuben sandwich. It came on a small white plate looking like some thing put on Wonder Bread with very few ingredients inside the sandwich. She got no fries,no pickle, no potato chips....nothing with it. She did not complain but I couldn’t believe it as I had talked up this restaurant to her all week. Also person at the counter who took our money never came over to ask if we needed anything or would like anything else. She was the only person we saw.
I never write a review unless it is glowing.and be I like the owner. But I hope that he will read this and make some improvements to his new place in Essex five corners.

I moved to the area over the summer and the Firebird Cafe is a perfect brunch spot near my place. The restaurant industry struggle with staffing due to the pandemic, so I become less picky about services in general. They currently use paper plates so pardon their food presentation. However, the food is consistently delicious after several dine-in experience this summer & fall. Egg-based dishes are flavorful and not too greasy. My partner loves their fresh toast with croissant.

Fantastic Caesar dressing. New favorite actually. And the fish tacos 😋😋😋

I have been here twice now for dine in. Let me say, Top notch omelets! I've had the pork carnita and the Frisco omelets. Both are very tasty!

It's a tiny shop, and I probably wouldn't recommend eating in.. The food tends to be consistent, and they are willing to accommodate customizing your food the way you like.
Staff always seems friendly, polite, and do a great job. The food is good and decently priced... I'm not a big fan of the southern/Mexican style, but it works when I'm in the mood for something different. Fish tacos were very good.

So much more could be done with this menu and atmosphere. The food was good but they're missing basic menu offerings like sides and add-ons.
The huge take-out sign on the building leads one to assume there is no dining in. Lots of marketing and messaging opportunities to improve profits.

First time grabbing breakfast here today - what a treat. Excellent food and atmosphere. The chef was quick to talk to us and engage. Fantastic Mexican breakfast!

The place is awesome we only went there once and we are going again right now and we got their quesadillas and they were the most awesome at at cooking if I were you come over to the firebird cafe this is better than any restaurant you have went to this is the most perfect place for a birthday or getting married also watch out what you get for a drink I accidentally got a cream soda and thought it was a root beer 😂
