The Firebird Cafe

The friendly staff and good food made our family breakfast very special. The coffee drinkers among us were pleased. The tea drinkers found the pots of tea to be much too small.

The burritos are incredible, the aesthetic of the resteraunt is amazing, and the staff are extremely outgoing and kind, what else is there to say. I just wish I had asked for some napkins 😅

I moved from Essex Jct a few years ago and don't get to go to Firebird as often as I'd like. But we stopped in a few days ago with a friend who can't have gluten. She had the huevos rancheros and was very happy. I had tasty fish tacos and left full. Excellent service from friendly staff! Mex food that makes californians happy!

Foods ok, service at lunch was so very slow. Waited 25 minutes for an order and wasn't warned by staff of the long lunch wait. I won't return.

The owner of this place is amazing! He is so kind and genuine! The place is very clean and the food was delicious. Has outdoor seating in the heart of Essex. A must go!

Fantastic little restaurant for brunch, all the menu items are delicious. The interior is very small and seating can get a bit scarce when it's busy. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

Great food, friendly atmosphere, and takes card. I tried the fish taco which was fantastic. Fresh vegetables, avocado, spicy cod, and a slice of lime on the side. Well worth the visit

As a business owner I like to take my crew there for lunch I was able to order the food just as I liked it I personally had a burrito with chicken rice black beans avocado and sour cream and they grill it yummmm

The food is always great! Plan on patiently waiting for a table or getting take out. Limited seating available. Good turn over time on seats though.
