Pioneer Lakeshore Café

Well, the breakfast scene in Colchester turns over faster than a new Camaro, so needless to say I was a little skeptical that this place was going to make it. But their brisket and egg breakfast sandwich is a darn good reason to believe that this place will stick better than a 2021 Gerrit Cole fastball. The brisket? Delicious. The eggs? Cooked perfectly. The pickles? Tasted homemade to me. The sauce? Tied everything together like a Bryan Singer storyline. Service is fast and friendly. I’ll be back, but they certainly won’t need my business to survive. The place was hopping like a rabbit cicerone on Sunday morning.

Amazing food cooked to perfection and always consistently delicious. Their fried chicken sandwich has great flavors you will not find anywhere else. Prices are fair, portions are good, and the owners are also the operators so the quality of the experience is always great! I can't say enough good things about Pioneer. Have not tried their breakfast yet, but will soon.

Great addition to the Colchester community. Everything on their menu is tasty. Love the rotating specials. Tried the chicken Milanese sandwich today and wow it was delicious! They are very friendly people.

Looking for something different? They have some great sandwiches, burgers and the like that others don't. And they are tasty! Truffle fries are a must. Nice little place. A little pricey but we enjoyed our lunch very much!

The burger, BLT, greens and fries were amazing. Cute interior and plenty of seating. I ordered online for pick up and it was ready exactly on time. Will be back, glad its only 2 miles from home.

Just got the veggie pita and the chicken sandwich today, both were PHENOMENAL! Will definitely be going back frequently!

This place is a GEM! Wonderful food, friendly & helpful owners & staff—it’s the kind of place that makes you happy to go to. If you’re on 89 hop off and take the slight detour for tasty food. If you’re local, get yourself there and support a place that other towns/states can only wish they had nearby!

This place is spot on every time. Place your order on their app pick it up 20 minutes later. Delicious, reasonably priced and yummy. The people who run it and work there are always pleasant. Hash browns are amazing! And my daughter loves the homemade yogurt granola fruit thing. A+

Food I had was pretty good. The other food on the menu looks delicious. Alpaca burger. Chicken sandwich. Brisket sandwich. I'll have to keep coming back. Staff was friendly polite and looked liked they enjoyed working there. It's a nice place. Crowded though, probably because the food and service is good
