Pingala Cafe & Eatery Chace Mill

My husband and I aren’t vegans, but we saw this place on DDD and we weren’t disappointed! The Crunchwrap supreme was exactly as described and delicious!! We also ordered a side of Mac and cheese and a PB&J smoothie. It was all delicious!! If you compare the Mac and cheese to real cheese, then you might not be as excited about it, but the flavor and experience was awesome!

My favorite vegan lunch spot in Burlington VT. Seriously, if you are vegan and visiting you have to stop at Pingala. Great outdoor dining space, with picnic tables overlooking the Winooski River and Winooski Falls. Truly a gem. Just beware they sell the Round-Up Ready GMO Soy-packed Impossible Meat, so be sure to steer clear of that! If they switched to Beyond Meat this place would be incredible!

Hands down my favorite place to visit. The atmosphere , staff, and food is always A++ first time visiting? Try the crunchwrap supreme, the seitan nuggets, or carrot dogg. Thank me later. Amazing baked goods. I drive over an hour religiously to eat here. Vegan food any eater will enjoy. STOP BY!

Oh my gosh! I discovered Pingala while in Burlington visiting my partner and hands down some of the best vegan food I've had! So good that i ate here twice in a week and would have been back for a third time if i had not ran out of time.
I had the French Toast Puffs, The Crunch Wrap Supreme, The Vegan Mac and Cheese, and The Napoleon Dynamite Burger, Yes i ate all of that in two visits it is that good! All of the employees were absolutely amazing and so nice! I think it was Alex who took care of me both times. They wiped down the Square register after every interaction, were all wearing masks, and were doing such a great job with limiting contact with all orders and customers. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back in the future.

Great variety of vegan options! I enjoyed their special of the breakfast burger torta, but I default often to the crunch wrap supreme. Usually I can be fairly picky about certain types of vegan cheese options, but Pingala’s is really tasty. I have no complaints. I’m looking forward to my next order!

We live in rural VT but crawl out of the woods every once in a while to get some Pingala.
I know there’s other good lunch spots in BTV, but I don’t really care.
It’s all vegan, but not in an obnoxious or pretentious way.
Try it, you’ll probably like it.
If you don’t, throw it out. Whatever man.

Food is tasty but small portions for the $ wait time took 40+ minutes for essentially a fast food take-out-joint. Order ahead ALWAYS if you value your time. Try the shawarma has like a beefy barley flavor! Good consistency!

Decent food, but the quality just doesn't seem to match the price anymore. I've had this complaint ever since they took real avocado off the menu years ago, yet kept the prices the same. The crunchwrap used to come with a nice side salad, and now the one I ordered had, at most, a dozen potato chips instead. The chipotle aoili on the side was even an extra 50 cents!

Our favorite was the breakfast Sammy, but the Rooster and the Karma Shwarma wraps were also extremely delicious!! I will absolutely be coming back next time I am in town.
