I don't even live in Vermont anymore but whenever I come home for a visit, I always stop to get a muddy shake, they're an amazing drink to start the day with. Great Cafe, with a fun atmosphere, highly recommend!

The place was cool but the wait was way too long to get our coffee and food. I think they need more help behind the counter. The cappuccino was good along with the vegan chili. It’s not the biggest place so we were lucky to find seating, I can’t say I was comfortable with our seats being that it was in the Isle where people had to pass to go get their coffee. The bathrooms are super small. I love all the plants in here and they have some board games. I will definitely give it another try. I’m always looking for good coffee shops since moving here from N.Y.C.

Great, quirky coffee shop just off of Church Street. Large selection of coffee, tea, and other drinks (smoothies, shakes, etc.). They always have an eclectic collection of music playing. They also have a good mix of breakfast items. Interior might be even better as it feels like a trippy log cabin/treehouse!

Literally the best coffee I've ever had made for me at a coffee shop. I'm pretty picky on coffee and they made it exactly how I like it. Super neat and quirky decor. Staff was friendly. Pretty spacious, surprised at how big it was based on the window.

What an ingenious way of ensuring people are socially distanced - the installation artworks are both super fun and practical. Delicious coffee, had to go back later that same day for an equally as delicious hot chocolate. Very nice baristas, played great music.

Nice place to sit, read and enjoy your coffee/tea. Friendly staff, great ambiance!

This coffee shop has an amazing atmosphere, unique to Burlington. Almost everything inside is made out of wood and nicely lit. Their coffee and smoothies are amazing and well priced and for a small place, their menu is very expansive. The only downside to this coffee shop is that it isn't very big so at peak hours, you may not fund an empty seat and also it is easy to miss if you didn't know it was there.

In response to Theresa’s review: like many Burlington establishments, Muddy Waters is likely requiring vaccination because of the city of Burlington’s new mask mandate. If they require vaccination, they don’t have to require mask wearing while inside. Additionally, as a vaccinated person, I feel better about being around other vaccinated people because, as she said, I can still transmit COVID. However, if I happen to give it to another vaccinated person, they will likely only have mild symptoms as opposed to if I gave it to an unvaccinated person, who could end up in the hospital, or worse. The vaccination requirement makes me feel safer as a patron. Muddy Waters is a great place - funky decor, chill vibes and great coffee. Highly recommend!

Excellent selection. Creative and delicious options for food, fruit smoothies, coffees, and other hot/cold drinks. Prices are fair.

Was visiting Burlington and I didn't want chain coffee. The atmosphere was warm and the aroma was therapeutic. My cappuccino was wonderful and a wonderful surprise to my friends was that they had a few draft beer options, we ended up staying for about an hour.
