What an awesome coffee shop, I really enjoyed stopping at muddy waters, read on to find out why:
1. Extremely friendly staff. The individual that helped me get my food and coffee was a joy to chat with. It’s always nice to go into a place and and have a conversation that is more than surface level. Seems like people care here.
2. The coffee was fantastic and fast!! The perfect combination for what I needed that day. Gave me a little time back so I could walk around before I needed to meet with coworkers.
3. The location is perfect. Great spot right downtown. Easy walk to the water.
4. Food is great too! I would definitely recommend getting something to eat here as well.
Highly recommended, I added a few photos of the space if you want to get an idea of what it looks like.
Every now and then, I like to check out a new coffee shop, especially if it has a unique design. The ambiance at this café was excellent, I would give 10/10. The food is decent. I tried a hummus, pita and coffee. which were tasty. I would definitely stop by this location whenever I'd be in Vermont to experience again this cafe's vibes.
This is like stepping into another reality. Had the alternate dimension larger than life puppets not been peering at me through the window, I would not have ventured in... but thank God I did! Super cozy coffe/tea/juice bar with fresh baked goods and other fare. Definitely a new favorite 💗
Delightfully quirky coffee shop with tasty food and yummy drinks. Inside feels like a woody cabin with some of Jim Henson‘s more creative Muppets hanging about. The chili was very good, especially with a slice of toast that added a certain sweetness to it. I had a hot cider with a cinnamon stick and it really hit the spot. This is a great little coffee shop, will definitely be back.
Muddy Waters has always been such an amazing local coffee shop and we missed it terribly during quarantine but it’s back and with a fun new twist- it’s full of quarantine monsters!!! You have to go just for the art installations. There have been 3 monsters out front for a while but there must be around 10more unique monsters inside!
Additionally, Muddy’s is still serving some delicious coffee, lattes, and espresso drinks as well as a range of unique and delicious looking pastries, breads, and bagels. The bagels are always really fresh and not too chewy (you HAVE to try the spinach and everything bagels). LGBTQ friendly, local, and with so many delicious options, Muddy Waters is a Burlington cafe you need to stop by whether you are a local or just visiting!
I love this place! It feels like I am on an acid trip with all the weird colorful statues. Also if feels like I am in a log cabin, maybe both an acid trip in a log cabin? Coffee and tea are S tier! Very delicious.
The cafe seems like a great hangout place for the college crowd. With a hipster atmosphere, and retro artsy look it is also a nice stop for those in town for a visit or that would like a non-starbucks experience.
Great coffee, friendly staff, and good bagel options were a plus. Nice environment to work in, but there's no Wi-Fi which was surprising. Ended up having to use a hotspot, which is fine, but they mentioned some of their patrons use Nectar's free wifi which seemed odd. Overall, would recommend, just maybe not for working while you enjoy your morning coffee.

Amazing coffee shop that I did love. I went back again and it really was one of the best lattes I've ever had. Thanks

Hot chocolate with whipped cream was PERFECT! Decoration is so cool but I was disappointed that they don’t have WiFi.
