This is the best place to have breakfast or lunch in Bellows Falls! The menu has a lot of great options and they are flexible with dietary restrictions. Try and grab a seat in one of the coveted window spots and enjoy people watching while sipping on a coffee or smoothie. In a rush? Grab one of their freshly baked pastries and take it on the road.

Tasty, fresh, affordable food. The menu has something for everyone and the daily specials are great. Bright, lively atmosphere; the people there couldn’t be nicer! Highly recommended for something small, like one of their pastries, or a full meal. Bellows Falls needed this place!

So here I am in Tampa FL eating a box of ice burg lettuce with a few pieces of chicken, a bit of shredded cheese and a little diced tomato...this is not a salad. I wish I was back at the Moon Dog having another one of the best salads I have ever gotten in a restaurant. Lots of fresh greens and vegetables covered with the most perfectly cooked chicken I've had on a salad, it was falling apart.
If you are in Vermont or New Hampshire, go out of your way and stop here. The smell drew me in, the great atmosphere and excellent food brought me back and I will find my way back again. 🤗🤩😍

Good food at a reasonable price. I highly recomend this place to any vegetarians having difficulty finding a good place to go out. Please be mindful that if you are paying with a debit card that you can't add a tip so bring a little cash. I had a great lunch in a quaint atmosphere and the tables were placed well for comfort in conversation and enjoying the surroundings.😊

Traveling? You've got to stop by and experience this amazing place. The food is always fresh and local. Made to order and accommodating.

Lunch was ok. But breakfast was not so good last time I went. Breakfast potatoes were raw. Not undercooked. Raw. But lunch ok. I didn't give up yet. Everyone has bad days.

Excellent !!! January 7, 2019, back again for a simply scrumptious lunch. The vegan veggie burger came heaped with fresh greens and mouthwatering sesame noodle salad on the side. They serve Rockingham Roasters coffee which is roasted right here in Bellows Falls. (Today I had the delicious medium roast, 'Vilas Bridge Blend.') The staff are awesome, and I look forward to seeoing them again, real soon!!

The owner is beyond an awful individual. She is a walking abscess of hate that I sense comes from a "I'm part of the parasite class of owners therefore am better than you"

I used to drive all the way to Chester for those ginger scones! Lucky for us, we can get them right across the river in Bellows Falls now. Fabulous sandwiches, soups and salads, as always. The new cafe location has a cheerful open vibe.

Best breakfast I’ve had in recent memory. Every item on my plate was hot, flavorful and perfectly portioned. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is what you would expect from a cafe. I highly recommend.
