Moon Dog Cafe is a delectable delight...our favorite weekend place to eat. The menu offers great options for everyone, at very affordable prices. Highly recommend!

We stumbled across this little gem on our way to Killington. We are so glad we did. We had a fantastic breakfast! The ambiance here is very cozy. Great music and service. The French toast…wow! The homemade whipped cream was much appreciated. The breakfast burrito was also tasty.

A hidden gem. We came up for the day and visited Moon Dog cafe for lunch. The food was fresh homemade and delicious. The service was excellent though I couldn’t help noticing how the nice lady who waited on us seemed to be a little overworked. She covered all the tables in a full cafe, ran the register , coffee area and bakery. I was totally impressed with her stamina! We will definitely be back!!!

Stopped in for breakfast this morning, the French toast was excellent, THICK slices with strawberries, whipped cream (NOT from a can), REAL maple syrup and a cantaloupe slice on the side. An excellent start to my day made even more excellent by the staff and the box of muffins/pastries/cookies we took home with us. I really cannot say enough good things about their pastries. Each has been a standout example of their variety and I feel lucky to live within a few miles of this gem. If you're looking for a great breakfast/lunch spot in BF, moon dog is where it's at!
Portobello sandwich is also excellent and the Big Max is the best veggie burger in town, easy.

Just visited Bellows Falls as a first timer and fell in love. Mostly with the community. Love poured into each dish. The staff was kind, smiling. The food was delicious, French toast and a biscuits and gravy special. Truly delicious. Can’t wait to come back!

The restaurant was nice, the food and smoothies we got were good. But one of the people there was kind of rude. Our waitress told us that the drink menu was on the board so I went to go look at it. I had a question about the smoothies, but the lady (not our waitress) was just on her phone. So I went back to the table. After a couple minutes I went back up because I wanted a drink. After a couple minutes of my friend and I waiting for service from her, she looks up at us and just "are you being helped?" I told her technically yes, but we were told to come up here for drinks. "Well go sit down. She'll take care of you in a minute". and then went back to her phone. I was shocked and appalled. Because of her I'm not going to go back there.
If it wasnt for that lady 4 stars.

The food, music, art, and things to buy make this spot a wonderful place to rejuvenate and could easily transform your day. Go and enjoy!

Such a great place to grab lunch! We were passing on our way fom NH to Southern Vermont, and so happy we did. The waitress was super efficient, friendly and gave me an awesome recommendation for lunch. The atmosphere was great and the food was super fresh. Great green smoothie!

Quality food! Quality ingredients and real craft turning those ingredients into delicious and healthy meals and into a large assortment of baked goods for your morning, afternoon or evening sweet tooth. This is the kind of eatery that makes me want to relocate to Bellows Falls. All day breakfast — the most magnificent French toast you’ve ever seen (real maple syrup of course), an array of breakfast burritos with plenty of options for the vegitarian and the meat lover. I would have loved to stay long enough to take pics of the menu, baked goods, open view kitchen and cozy interior but I needed to scoot to the veterinarian (Westminster Animal Hospital) a few miles down the road. My burrito photo doesn’t do justice but does show the care they put into presentation. Walking in the door and inhaling the good cooking aroma starts to quell the appetite before you even order. Great place to hole up for the afternoon with a good book and a cup of their small batch roasted coffee. The only downsides were no WiFi (but there was a strong cell signal) and inability to tip on a debt card payment.

Excellent food - great location. We were in town for the weekend and came by here for breakfast once, and we tried to come a second time but they were closed on Sunday’s … too bad! The food was really excellent, and the portions were substantial. The coffee was great, and the atmosphere ambiance was just on point …. I can’t say enough. I wish I came here for other meals, or just stayed all day! Staff were super nice and friendly, too.
