I went to the Moon Dog Cafe on a whim with family for breakfast, the plants and outdoor seating lured me in. Inside the atmosphere was amazing, the staff was so friendly, and the food was second to none. I had the Blue moon rising smoothie that was so incredibly delicious and a grand slam. A MUST if you’re in town, I’ll be stopping by for breakfast again soon. Such a lovely little place ❤️

I love this place! Great food and wonderful service.

Maybe the food is excellent, but I guess we'll never know. When my 88-year-old parents and I arrived ten minutes before closing, the staff were outstandingly rude and dismissive. They then pulled themselves together to welcome customers (friends?) who arrived after we did.

The best salad I have eaten in a long time. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. The homemade dressing complimented the portabella mushroom and goat cheese perfectly. The service was delightfully cheerful and energetic. Love this place! Cant wait to try more dishes.

When I first walked in the establishment looked to be a cute mom and pop store. I saw 2 beautifully prepared dishes being brought out to a couple eating outside, at this point i was excied to order! I ordered 2 chester cheese steaks from a women who was less then pleasant. The wait wasn't that long for take out maybe 10 minutes. The sandwiches were a mix of a wrap and a square panini. It was boiling hot witch was a good sign but the steak was cheap tasting and very tuff, the sandwich was leaking grease not very good. The menu stated vermont cheddar and if it was it was not Cabot. All in all it seams like if you dine in you get a better experience.

Sort of a Vermont feminist collective vibe, with oh so crunchy menus ingredients, staff, etc., but hey the food was really good and the décor grew on me, and my wife liked it, so really worth a stop. Excellent bread, good sandwiches, drinks, baked goods. Stop, look around, chat, enjoy! Especially wonderful if you are from NYC looking for a little bit of home - and I am not - I am a native Vermonter.

Stopping for lunch en route to Ludlow, we discovered the Moon Dog cafe. Each item we had was delicious- moroccan chicken lentil stew, ham & swiss cheese sandwich, roast beef sandwich, potato salad & huge chocolate chip cookie. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Great place for lunch - we arrived in Bellow Falls by chance - food was excellent quality - a nice mix of meat and Veggie items to suit all tastes. We are on holiday from England and this was the best food I had eaten since we arrived in the USA nearly two weeks ago. A fantastic asset for Bellow Falls .If we were local I am sure you would see alot more of us!.

The staff is excellent, the cook is a gift from God, the lady that runs the place is a sweetheart, they are very helpful, their menu offers breakfast and lunch, I wish they were open later than 4 p.m.! I will return to this place, as frequently as possible! Five stars out of five, and I love the small, quiet, open atmosphere of their seating.
