Sugar House Coffee

Great spot for an authentic feel of a neighborhood coffee cafe. Good food, coffee, and vide with excellent staff!

Edit: don’t go during lunch hours. Don’t know if it’s rushing to get drinks out but i went and got a coffee during lunch hours and it tasted so bad. Like i went from a 9 in terms of taste to a 2 from the last time i came. Really bummed me out. Really friendly and sweet staff here. The coffee is really good here. It was also quite clean. And the esthetic of the place is really cute. Lots of plants and wood tables.

Austin vibes in Salt Lake City. This place is amazing from every perspective. Staff, products, atmosphere.

First and only time we've been here..
I had the same experience the other 1 star review gave. Man at the window was rude, impatient, bad attitude and poor communication skills. Coffee was just ok. We won't be coming here again. We complied with wearing our useless masks as soon as we read the sign (they have their opinion, I can have mine) without saying anything, while in the car and honestly we should've just driven away the second he gave us an unwarranted BAD attitude. Even the teenager in the car said, Wow, that person was so rude.
All in all, there's better coffee and nicer people elsewhere.

Super cute place with great coffee and killer avocado toast. Really enjoyed it

Atmosphere was light and airy with plenty of inviting messages and natural lighting

Plenty of indoor seating as well as outdoor spots

Coffee options along with light food (e.g. bagels, parfaits, etc)

The cortado with oat milk was a bit disappointing because it tasted like just milk

Not bad coffee, and very good service, but the vibe has gotten closer to a WeWork than a coffee shop.

They have Renude Chagacinno, Bulletproof coffee (called Fully Loaded there), annnnd CBD sodas. All hard to find in SLC! Also great seating for working or just hanging out. Always been a fan.

I just had to give a shout out to the guy working the register and orders today (shaggy curly hair and beard). I have been here for 30 min with a steady stream of customers. Super positive, super friendly, engaging and kind to every customer. Never missed a beat, friendly and fun with ever single customer. What a gem of an employee! Give that guy a raise and keep him. Thanks for making my morning a little brighter whoever you are.
