Roots Coffee Utah

Roots has the friendliest baristas! Great coffee, but I also love their London Fog (they add lavender, so good). Often add chocolate covered espresso beans on top of your to-go cup as a sweet touch. Nice space upstairs to hang out/work as well.

i love my coffee and i love trying new places and this is the only one i will go to now! it’s amazing here and the staff are all so awesome and the coffee is quite delicious! if your looking for a new place or wanting to try something new this is your spot!

I got my morning coffee here while staying in Salt Lake City and it was the perfect start into the day. Very good coffee and the staff was very kind. I am definitely coming back! Thank you again.

Friendliest service in all of Salt Lake! I'm always complaining about the lack of friendliness and service here in Utah (I'm used to southern hospitality) but I'm always greeted with a smile and excellent service here. I'm super picky about my coffee and chai, and I won't go anywhere else. Best coffee shop in the valley, hands down.

I Tried this coffee shop during their grand opening & have been hooked since. It’s my go-to for a quick cup on the way to work , a weekend reading sesh on the balcony, or just a chill spot to meet a friend. The vibes are on point, the owners are kind and personable and their coffee is fantastic. I honestly believe it’s the best spot for coffee downtown. Do yourself a favor and check it out. I recommend the white raspberry or the white choc lavender. The Mexican mocha is also bomb!

The staff here is phenomenal, everyone was so friendly when I first came in and the feeling of being a regular here is awesome. The furnishing upstairs is super nice and everything is clean! Delicious coffee too, obviously.

I am pretty particular about coffee so I'm always a little apprehensive when trying new coffee spots in SLC, but theirs made the cut! I usually start with a mocha so that if it's not great at least I have chocolate, but I'll be ordering an espresso next time. I love that they have lots of comfortable seating-- not just a bunch of trendy hard chairs and one soft one. Makes me feel like it's okay to relax with my drink and hang out for a while.

I ordered a hot chocolate so I can’t comment on coffee. :) only reason it’s a 4 instead of 5 is that the pastries were lacking in availability - I went at 10am on a Friday and there were only two left!

This place has some seriously good coffee. We ordered a triple latte and the hazel rush and they are both delicious. If you're there during the fall I'd recommend their pumpkin bundt cake! Definitely deserves the good reviews.
