“This is THE place” (little Mormon pun) to get coffee here in downtown Salt Lake. The Caramelo as well as the Hazel Rush tasted wonderful. The customer service is also fantastic. One of the baristas working when I went in was Vicky, who’s smile and cheery attitude makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. Definitely check these guys out next time you’re downtown.

Roots provides an incredibly comfortable space to wind down and relax in an environment that radiates positivity and a peaceful aesthetic. Backed up with incredible service by the delightful barristas, the quality of coffee is 10/10. In particular, Sophia and Victoria presented a welcoming experience with their positive attitudes and down to earth hospitality. The Horchata Latte is one of the unique special items on their menu that did not fail to impress. Will definitely be visiting more often, and recommend anyone who is reading this to give it a try. Thank you Roots for going above and beyond!

The coffee was definitely good and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and the place was spotless. They even gave chocolate covered coffee beans for each cup we ordered.

Roots is such a cute and cozy place. And lemme tell ya about the customer service. AMAZING. Victoria was my barista and she did everything above and beyond. She even opened the door for me on my way out. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Their coffee is literally the best coffee I’ve ever had. And I’m always met with the friendliest of faces when I walk in! They are very knowledgeable about everything coffee. If you haven’t tried Roots Coffee, you’re missing out. The best coffee, the best baristas, the best vibe. It’s a hidden gem!

Only stopped in for a black coffee after getting a recommendation from a local. I sat outside and enjoyed the sun. Staff was very friendly and they have a nice little porch upstairs.

Very friendly coffee shop. Good coffee and a small selection of tasty pastries. Very reasonably priced as well.
