The cups were unwashed, and the rooms were poorly ventilated. Plus to add to that, there was a homeless woman who was cussing everyone out. I wanted to give this place a try, but the vibes were very off.

This place is by FAR! THE WORST place I have EVER been to. Ever! No idea how in the world people like the food. It's awful. It's dirty and SLOW. There was only 5 tables with people at them when we arrived so thought it would be pretty quick. An hour an 20 minutes later, they bring out two salads! I'm just trying to figure out what was going on in the kitchen for almost an hour and a half to take that long. To make matters worse, they had a guy in the back area singing with his guitar and I'm sorry but it was BAD! It was loud ,overbearing and I'm not trying to be mean, just honest, but his voice was BAD!and did not help this restraunt out at all! We finally got up and moved as we couldn't even talk without yelling. Our salads had very little flavor, so unappealing. The whole thing was just bad. A couple that was waiting to be seated asked us how the food was, I had to be honest....I told them if they had atleast two hours to spare that's how long they would be there for and BY ALL MEANS, the food WAS NOT worth the wait! they turned around and walked out. Smart move. No idea how this cafe is even still in business is beyond me. I haven't heard very good things about the owner and heard she's the cook in the back. So....there you go!

Weve been to this place before and had an awesome experience just my husband and I. Unfortunately this time I cant say the same. I dont like leaving a bad review but the owner of this business didnt even want to hear us out before we were shooed out the door, so here inwill leave my complaint. We came in with our kids and were greeted by a man who just seemed miserable. Told there was only one cook and the wait for food would be 20 minutes…ok not a problem at all! We understand staffing problems! However, we were sat, and he came with kids drinks we asked for. We asked for a bloody mary and mimosa. He then told us to get the drinks from the bar. My husband approached the bartender and she said he needed to order through the server. We sat around for a good 10 minutes and just grabbed some menus from the front desk since we didnt get any. We continued to wait and wait until we decided to just go somewhere else. We approached the bartender where the owner and our server was standing. Asked to just kindly pay for our kids sodas and boy oh boy did that seem to ruffle some feathers. The owner who was extremely rude yelled “it hasnt even been that long.” we said we just wanted to pay for the sodas and she kept cutting me off as i was trying to explain our frustrations and she just shooed us out the door. I get it, times are stressful, but there was absolutely no urgency in the staff and we couldnt even order a drink! Not to mention how we were not rude when we wanted to leave, they were SO rude. We will never go back to this place. Waiting for for our food we never even got to order was the problem, it was everything else and the way we were treated.

The food is amazing!! The drinks are amazing!! The only reason it's a four-star review is because the wait was longer than we had expected.. there were about four tables inside but it took an hour and a half to receive food. The drinks were amazing! We got the champagne cocktail and it was perfect!! Definitely would come back..

Our server was sofia and she was amazing. She made great recommendations and even offered up some new student advice for our daughter. Sje was very attentive and took care of everything above and beyond. Thank you

Its a cute place and the food is nice but the service was terrible. I wanted to order some alcohol and soda but she brought us water immediately, which is good, but she didn't let us ask what drinks were available, as there wasn't a drink menu (alcohol, juice, soda). After we ordered our food, she left before i could try to ask again.

During the wait for food, my drink went empty and my waitress was chating with a man at a table and the place was empty except for us and the man. She didn't show proper hospitality and ignored us until our food was ready and the cook brought it to us. I had to ask the waitress before she left again to get a drink refill.

She didnt want to socialize with us at all and ignored us for a man at a table. In an empty cafe.

Really fantastic place! Tried the muffaletta with garlic fries, they didn't skimp on the mead and the freshness was fantastic! You're a lucky person if you get Hailee as your server, she loves her job and makes great recommendations on drinks and food.

The food was absolutely fantastic, it tasted homemade and the protion sizes are generous. The waitress provided the best service I have EVER had, and the decor is wonderful. If you're looking for a casual place with a 60s vibe, delicious food, and impeccable service, this is it!!

Okay, now that I've had a chance to calm down from the disappointment, here we go. This place is one of our favorites, but our coffee date was a disaster. From the moment we sat down until the moment we walked out, the experience was horrible. When we were seated, there was an immediate request for coffee. Their coffee machine was broken. If you could have seen the looks on our faces, you would have thought the world had ended. I think that probably set the tone, right there. We accepted the proposal of regular drip coffee. When I tasted my coffee, I was like OH MY GOSH! My coffee tastes like BLAH! Lakaitay suggested I add more creamer, so I did, but the disappointment was already there.
When the waitress started taking my order, of course, I had my usual questions and was trying to talk out some items on the menu. I had to keep asking her, what did you say? Her response was "it's early in the morning and I haven't woke up yet." OKAAAAAAY!!!! I went on and Lakaitay Wilder Gibson said "your voice is soft." Okay orders are placed and we're sitting at the table having our usual good time and the waitress comes and offers up more coffee, we accept. As the end of that cup of coffee approached, the waitress was walking by and Lakaitay asked about our orders. The waitress politely said, "let me go and check on them." We have, now, been sitting here for about 30 minutes when the waitress come to offer a third cup of coffee, we decline and ask about our order. She again goes to check. Now, it's been 45 minutes and we are still wondering where our orders are. Lakaitay says, "when she comes back I'm just gonna cancel my order, so I say, "let's just get up and go cancel", so that is what we did. When we approached the desk and canceled our orders, the STAFF got really rude, they were like, here is your order now and the cook literally came from out of the kitchen, slid the food on the table, told us we were being ridiculous and told us to sit down and eat. They said they'd give us a discount, but by this time it was too late. They were yelling at us telling us to be patient. We were as patient as we could have been. I don't know what they meant by be patient when we were the first ones to be seated and they weren't even busy.
Sylvia Gomez Gomez said "Is $5 enough for the coffee?" They accepted and we politely left their establishment.
I think it's safee to say we will NEVER visit again.
