The Grind Coffeehouse

Normally it’s really good, but I just got a latte that looks like it was made for looks instead of flavor. Watching the barista create it, they filled the cup with milk, added some ice, and then drizzled the espresso shot over the top until the cup was full, leaving about half the shot unused. It tasted of slightly bitter milk, not like a coffee drink at all! And like I said, normally they’re really good, but I’ve had a few different drinks show up as 90% milk with the memory of a flavor added in, which for over $5 is not worth it at all. I like going here because when they get it right it’s fantastic, and I rather support a local business instead of the unending hoard of Seattle’s Starbucks, but whenever I get a drink that’s this watered down it makes me wonder why I spend that much money on it.

We love this place and stop by each time we’re passing through Cedar. All the people that work there make it a very welcoming atmosphere. Also, the food and coffee options are solid !

Super cute place! Everyone is nice but pretty slow. My order was forgotten about and just sitting behind the counter until I asked about it.

Always make the effort to stop in when we pass through Cedar City. Awesome lattes. I got their special chai drink this time and wow!!!! So tasty!!! Also loved their baked goods.

I found this coffee shop over 6 years ago and throughout my visit to the city from Las Vegas, I never miss the opportunity to go enjoy a delicious brunch and catch up with the locals.

I watched as she poured whole milk into my drink, when I'm extremely lactose intolerant (and paid extra for almond milk). When asked if it was made with almond milk, she said yes. Then my friends drink was not made correctly either. This place has gone downhill.

The new makeover the Grind has received over the last year is amazing! I started coming here in 2019 and the layout was somewhat confusing and crowded. Now, it is cute, trendy, and more of an open floor plan. The coffee is great I love my iced americano and my favorite sandwich is the turkey chipotle club! All the baristas that work here are so sweet and accommodating to any special requests I have had in the past for drinks. Plus I think they improved their wifi somehow and it is my go to place to get some work done.

Purchased an iced vanilla latte and iced Americano. Requested half n half but given heavy cream. We ended up throwing both of them away because they did not taste very good.

I'm a 30 year barista. Passing through CC, stopped for lattes. I've gotten lattes here in the past. No problem.

Sat in a corner waiting for my lattes (2) and watched the barista. One person ahead of me so knew when my order was coming up. Watched the barista (who was working alone), walk away from the frothing milk, to do something else. Knew the milk was frothing too long. Milk was scalding hot and latte undrinkable until it cooled down. Milk had no foam and was thin. 2 stars because I eventually enjoyed the espresso taste, 1 star for being a distracted barista and ruining 2 lattes.

Checking out local coffee shops is always exciting and since we were driving through the area on our way home from vacation, we decided to give this one a try.

We only stopped in quickly for some breakfast and coffee but the place was awesome, the interior was both clean and had a comfy, eclectic decor. The shop was even attached to the bookstore next door, I loved it. The staff there were great too, quick and really nice.

The Veggie Sandwich ended up being our breakfast and we both got americanos. The espresso tasted pretty standard and the sandwich was great for very reasonable prices.
