Tangie's Cafe

One of the cooks decided to change his shirt in the kitchen where the food was being cooked. The omelet I ordered came pretty overcooked and rubbery and the cheese looked like a Kraft single just thrown on top and partially melted. The tables were dirty, the regulars were noisy, the atmosphere was dark and dank. The food was terrible and not the great value that another reviewer spoke of. One man band is the same price and way better.

This restaurant was so gross that it is now the brunt of our jokes as a family whenever we are joking about going somewhere "special".

Very friendly! It's the kind of place that seems like the regulars go to everyday, but they were very warm and welcoming to us non regulars all the same. Good food too.

I’ve been here for breakfast and lunch, and every time is very good. Delicious no matter what you choose. The wait staff are really nice people, which really matters to me. A solid choice you won’t regret!

This place reminds me of a cafe I grew up in friendly staff, food was good not great but definitely not greasy so I left with my stomach in tact. They kept my coffee topped of and my food was brought to me fast. I would definitely come back its nice to be in a small town diner. Thanks guys

Tangie’s is the best breakfast spot you can find in the area. We flew in from Austin and have been having breakfast here every morning on our trip. Omelettes is filling with a side of hashbrowns and delish toast. The customer service is exceptionally great! Everyone is friendly and makes sure your meal is great. Have breakfast here! You’ll love it like us!

So this is the second time I have tried this Cafe with the same results. It is a definite local hangout where locals come to chat and pay $2.00 to plug a whole table for hours to have free refills. The food is just ok towards the not ok side. What makes me not want to go again is that the Cafe caters to the people that they know. My Family spent more than the 5 locals sipping coffee but the service was very bad, same as the last time. No refills, long wait and never came back to the table. In my mind, I would be happy to see new people come into my business. Go to Denny's Cafe by Lowes, the lady in there is always happy to see you, gives great service and the food is better. What is sad.... I always try to support locals first and not chains.
