The chicken Fried Steak wasn't that great. The white gravy had zero flavor. The wait time was very long.

So excited to try this place, turned out to be a total disappointment. Not very welcoming staff. Took orders from people who came in after us. Ended up leaving a dollar for the untouched soda and left. Would take some convincing to try this place again.

It took 40 mins for us to serve our food... and honestly it was not even that good! Who said it was the best food in town??? Liar! Staff here are not kind at all.

One of the best burgers I've had in my life. And I've had lots of Burgers. This is one of those hometown style cafes where the locals all gather to eat and the waitress doesn't even have to take their orders because they know what the regulars like. Amazing prices, great service. Love coming here for a good breakfast and burger.

Prices were very reasonable. The food was good too.i might go back sometime. I was not overwhelmed. It was decent enough.

Great food. It's an older feel and a little slower service. But for breakfast and that calm, relaxing, sip on your drink and enjoy your company morning. It's a match. If you're in it to speed through and get on to your next location, well go somewhere else.

The service was very nice. One guy came from the back just to chat with his regulars. I really liked the feeling there.

Tangie's Cafe is one of those classic hole-in-the-wall diner style restaurants that you can easily miss if you aren't looking for it. The food is good classic American fare. It boasts nothing and leaves you asking for nothing. The staff are wonderful and the guests are the best part. There are the local regulars that frequently hang out at the restaurant to enjoy each other's company. The interior is dated and borderline dilapidated, yet this adds to the charm or the restaurant. There are restrooms available to customers. I will be coming back as long as Tangie's is open.

Perfect little local diner! The prices are cheap, and the portion sizes match that. Meaning; my daughter got the kids grilled cheese with fries, and it was a half sandwich with a dozen fries, but it was $2.25 and she was full afterwards. I got the two eggs, hash and pancake breakfast and it was enough for me.

The sweet rolls are made at Lehi bakery and brought in. Delish!

Great food, amazing service, best greasy spoon in the area. It may not look like much, but the food tastes great, the portions were spot on, our our waitress kept the coffee full and we didn't have to wait on a sunday like you would at the chains. Thanks guys, we will be regulars.

My favorite place for breakfast in Utah! My husband loves this place! Tangie the owner makes you feel like YOU'RE HOME! Great place for breakfast. Great fast service. Great coffee, always hot, never bitter. And the waitress comes before you even ask for coffee and fills your mug to the rim! They have the thick homestyle bacon or delicious German sausage and perfect eggs! They also have homefries! And for us Texans they have creamy grits with butter ...Made the right way! You can also get omelets, pancakes, scones and French toast. If you like it spicy, then be sure and use the Gunslinger hotsauce. You can also get burgers, pork chops and even steak. They have a variety of drinks. And they have a kids menu. Everything is delicious! The decor is very homey with a lot of Texas and Western decor. The prices are very reasonable and won't break the bank! They are in a cute historic Downtown Main street, American Fork. And they are open on Saturday and Sunday! Great place if you're heading out early for a ski run or going on a trip on the motorcycle out of town or state because they open at 5:00 AM and they ARE THE FASTEST BREAKFAST PLACE IN UTAH! So you have time to get a good meal and still leave on your adventure on time!
