We eat here a lot and the food is always great. Waitstaff are a treat. Delicious authentic Mexican food. Really good tamales. Expect a wait time on some days because the whole town shows up when other restaurants are closed.

Seems to be the best food place around here! ππΌπ

Nice little spot for a bite. Great staff, food and clean.

Food was passable.
The lady (in charge) who took orders was very friendly.
Service was quick.
The gentleman who brought out food was rude and didn't acknowledge us (yet spoke to locals). Which didn't create a nice atmosphere.

This is the only place which is open along TX 188 to and from big bend. Food is okay, not tasty. Lacked salt and spices. Name definitely doesn't suit the food they serve. However, I read couple of other reviews which talked about unhygienic food and stuff. I completely disagree with those reviews. Service is good. Maybe people there need to wear mask π· though.

After a long weekend at Big Bend, this was the only place open in this area. The food was very bland and re-used. The meat from the tamales tasted like soap. Not very sure how the food is being made. Very unfortunate experience. If you know tex- mex, or food in general, this isnβt it. Very upsetting.

This was the only place that was open a little late around the Terilungua area which served both vegetarian and meat options. We tried chips and guacamole, vegetable enchiladas and grilled chicken breast. Guacamole was pre made and didn't taste fresh and was lacking salt. Enchiladas were filled with steamed vegetables and topped with cheese and red sauce. Vegetables again lacked salt and the red sauce wasn't so good.

The food was great but the service was lacking. Both times we visited they were short staffed which caused long waits. Guess that's the time we live in now though. Otherwise, great experience.

Had a tasty breakfast. Bless their hearts - they were definitely understaffed. Everyone took it in stride and servers were friendly despite running themselves ragged. This was a weekday mid-morning... Can't imagine what weekends are like. But if you aren't in a hurry, I did enjoy the migas.
