The food was pretty good. There's not a ton of seating so you may have to wait a while if you go during dinner time. The waitresses were very friendly and the atmosphere of the place itself give a "hole in the wall" feel.

We had Tacos Al Carbon. They were fresh and filling. We are born and bread Texans and set a high bar for our Mexican food. We didn't get here in time for breakfast. We would have given the breakfast 5 stars...WOW looked amazing

The 2 of us sat down pretty quick, even ordered fairly quickly, but it took over a half hour to get a chicken burrito and chicken chalupas. Crow the waiter was nice, probably too nice because he spent a lot of time talking to other customers and maybe forgot our food, because it was barely warm when we got it.

Stopped in here about half hour before they closed my first night in town visiting Big Bend and got the al pastor tacos- they were so good that I came back for them again two nights later. The staff was also super friendly both times I was there and didn't rush me out even though I stayed right up until they closed both times.

Breakfast plates are a good size, what a delicious meal!

Wow. The staff are horrible.
I was nicely sitting in the patio waiting for a menu. After about 15 minutes of being ignored by the server, two more couples walk in and get sat immediately with menus and waters… I decided to stick my head in to get a menu and just make sure the server had seen me outside on the patio… instead of being handed a menu with a kind “I’m a little swamped but I’ll be right with you. Here’s a menu” .. instead this insane white lady scolds me loudly and rudely in front of three other tables. Dressing me down that she’s the only person working, she doesn’t have help, and the snidest “I’ll be with you just as fast as humanly possible” … everyone was staring at me. I was dumbfounded. All I wanted was a menu so I could wait patiently. Instead, I was rudely demeaned by the staff in front of other guests.

Hope it burns down and she can’t afford her rent. Very uncalled for. Thanks

Great little place to get some Tex-Mex. Fajitas were great. Chips and queso were authentic and filling. The beer mug glasses are ice cold. They also have chicken strips and hamburgers available for the kiddos. Check this place out in Terlingua.

Absolutely the worse experience ever. Waited for menu for 15 minutes. Then waited another 15 minutes and left. Especially when the table next to us said there entire meal was cold. As we were walking out the waitress was sitting with some customers like no sense of her job was needed. How does a place like this stay in business???

Had the steak street tacos. They were good. The server was working hard. She was a bit overwhelmed as the place was packed and people outside. The server had a fantastic personality! She made the experience.

This place is the real deal. I felt like I was south of the border. Great Mexican food with prompt efficient service. I had the fajita burrito con pollo. Fue grande with plenty left over for dinner. It was a challenge to find a place to eat lunch in Terlingua. The few restaurants that were operational were only open for dinner. Goes good with a cold Tecate.
