Rock Inn Cafe

I'm 73 and my parents always stopped to eat here even before I was a teenager. The restaurant was clean ( the men's room is a hoot). Food was good especially the pie. Waitress was pleasant. I'll go again when I'm that way again.

We eat here on a regular basis and the food is always great, big portions! The price is good and the staff is airways great! It's the best place in Baylor county to eat!

I spent the weekend in Seymour. I had an great breakfast and also had lunch at the Rock Inn cafe . Breakfast was great . I had the western omelette very fresh and flavorful. For lunch had burger and frys. The burger had so much flavor. What I love about this diner is the old small town country atmosphere with great food and an friendly staff.

The food was okay, fries were soggy, really good onion rings though. Burgers were nothing special, just average cafe burgers. The service was very good. The biggest negative was the smokers. I thought all Texas restaurants were smoke-free. If you don't smoke you are not going to enjoy the atmosphere.

Food was delicious , service was great. It has been a long time since I sat down to a meal that tasted this good.

We liked this place. Thought we had found a treasure. We travel through going to Dallas area to see our grand kids. Sometimes we stop coming back from Casino. Today We made the 50 miles drive back from casino just to eat breakfast. We had eaten breakfast at 8pm before. We got there at 11:30am was told no breakfast after 11. I told the lady we were told they served breakfast all day. She responded in a rude way. I am the new owner now and we don't serve breakfast at noon hours! So new owner you r rude! So we won't be stopping there anymore. Thank you for recommending Maverick cafe around the corner.

We were very satisfied with our meal. Very fresh food and seemed to be the place to be for good old cooking. Good portions of good food.

My wife and I come here regularly because the food is great and the prices are extremely reasonable. The waitress knows the regulars and has their drinks ready for them. Newcomers can expect to get great service and a great menu choice that is unexpected from a small town dinner.

I loved it. Food is great and the service is even better. Only down side is they're Texas Tech fans(;

ps they have a breakfast special morning before 10:30 for 3.99. Its a steal and you cant beat it!! But if you aren't worried about finances, don't be afraid to get the Cowboy Egg Benedict for 8.99 or their breakfast burritos(my two favorites to get when I stop by when I am traveling business). Hope you enjoyed this review as much as I enjoyed this restaurant!

Service is really slow it's also a smoking cafe so it smells like cigarette as soon as you come in. Ordered the Steak and eggs and they were out of steak. I don't recommend coming here if you're really hungry or in a rush, took us about 25 minutes to get our food and it was a simple eggs and bacon order.
