Stopped here first time through blind luck enroute to Foat Wuth. Family owned and operated by young couple. Best chicken fried chicken I can remember getting in a country restaurant. Plenty of sweet tea, mashed potatoes, okra and green beans. Homemade gravy on the side so the chicken doesn't get soggy. Enjoyed it so much stopped again on the way home. Going to Wichita Falls tomorrow and specifically planning trip to eat lunch here. Rock Inn Cafe gets the ultimate Catfish accolade: EWEP. Excellent Worth Every Penny. If you're anywhere near Seymour at lunch eat here and support the youngsters!

I have tried this place 3 times, the first time it wasn't bad and the 2nd it was horrible. Tried one more time recently for breakfast and never again. My wife's eggs were undercooked, with runny egg whites and the bacon was burned to a crisp. My Spanish omelet was so full of jalapeƱos I couldn't eat it, and I like jalapeƱos. The hashbrowns were cold and institutional in every way. The waitress asked how the food was and I said terrible. She laughed like I was joking. Really friendly staff, but horrible food.

Great diner with friendly service and excellent food. They are open M-Th 6am - 8pm, Friday and Saturday 6am - 3pm, and Sunday 8am - 3pm.
Decent sized truck parking area, easy to get in and out and right off the highway. They hand cut the fries and batter everything fresh. We will definitely stop here anytime we pass through here.

I lived in seymour in 1958 my sister was the first black woman to work in the front of the Rock in. We had fried chicken and hamburgers all the time. In 2005 we visited there again .and had fried chicken and hamburgers. I brought my son along. We loved it just as much then as when I was a child. I now live in fort worth tx.

Old style restuarant in Seymour. Food was good, service was friendly and fast. None smoking for customer comfort. A bit of obvious deferred maintenance.

This little restaurant was AMAZING!! We stopped in for breakfast and our waitress was absolutely precious!! I wanted chocolate chip pancakes and she made it happen! Wish I would have gotten her name so I could give her the props she so truly deserves!! She's a keeper and this place is a "must" for breakfast!!
