The place is a dump. Torn and patched seats, sticky floor and table top, old dusty décor. But the chicken fry? Out of this world. We ordered a half portion of chicken fried steak and chicken. The half portion was huge; enough to take half of it home. French fries are wonderful. Side salad was large with plenty of ripe tomatoes. Very reasonable prices too. Worth a stop.

The chicken fried steak is melt-in-your-mouth delicious! Never have I have one this heavenly. The batter is not heavy, just right seasonings, delightful experience! Yummy! I would go back and we live 175 miles away!!!

What a gem place to find in this most beautiful place whilst traveling. I had the grilled chicken and it was delicious with perfect seasoning. What made my experience even better was the staff, especially McKinzi. I ended up spending over an hour enjoying the hospitality. Not only that she recommended accommodation.

We always stop at this nice little restaurant when we pass thru Seymour, TX, traveling from the Lubbock area to the metroplex. Their chicken fried steaks are awesome. I like a lot of chicken fry batter and they do it right!!!! Everything I've eaten there is high quality food and generous servings. They have a lot of country plaques on the walls for reading entertainment. I highly recommend this Café.

Food was ok onion rings had no flavor

Hair in edge of hash browns. Pancakes were not good. Very mediocre food. Very old cafe with tape-patched seating. Will not return and do not recommend.

No ice so we had hot tea for the first 15 min. Chips were stale and dip needed salt bad!! Not worth $6.00!! Food was ok...My husband had chicken fried steak which he said was tough. I had smothered steak and the gravy tasted very artificial. Green beans were GREASY!! Probably will not return.
