This is a great little diner. You may believe a diner can’t be 4 or 5 stars, but for the quality of food and price compared to similar restaurants, this is very good. We ordered the Dairy Mart #4 (chili cheeseburger) and the Grilled Chicken Club. The food came out fast and the sandwiches were hot. I had to take off one star because I was looking forward to the hand-cut fries, but they came out cold. Bummer. The portions were nice and prices fair. We will return hoping for hot fries.

Older restaurant built in the 1930’s. Friendly staff & quick service! The taco salad was one of the best I’ve ever had! My husband loved his chicken fried steak & hand breaded onion rings were outstanding!

We eat at Rock Inn periodically and have not been since football season. I am very happy to see that the older lady who waited on us back then (I think her name was Jackie) is no longer there. She was rude. Our waitress this time was amazing and the food service and cleanliness was great. Thank y'all keep up the good work!

The food is good ol’ country cooking! The fried pork chops are so delicious! It was moist and juicy.
Bonus’s the staff is super friendly.
It’s an older cafe but don’t worry the staff is health conscious and it’s clean inside.
Bathrooms are very clean as well

Nice little cafe to get anything from fried pork chops, chicken fried steak, hand cut fries, sandwiches, hamburgers and more!

We stopped in for lunch. Our server was so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The home cut fries were perfect. The clubhouse sandwich was large with fresh ingredients. Our meals were good value.

Rock Inn Cafe is the best breakfast place in the country by far. The cafe is cleaner than a palace and the food is as good as if it was made by a 5 star chef. My table of 30 people got our food within 3 minutes of arrival. We didn't even order yet and they knew exactly what we wanted. Rock Inn Cafe should make Seymour, Texas, a tourist attraction. We'll be back!

I don’t typically share reviews but this place was actually asking for them so here is mine!!! A group of us stopped in while passing through, if we could only go back in time & pick somewhere else! The staff was incredibly rude, rushed us through ordering after we had to wait far too long to receive service. No refills. Staff standing around gossiping about who knows what, staff cursing, whooping and hollering about. Was looking forward to the food, as I appreciate a good home-cooked meal, especially while on the road. Food was mediocre at best. Some items over cooked, some undercooked. Many things didn’t seem even close to being fresh. Nearly all 6 of us were experiencing ill symptoms within an hour of our departure. We will not be back!

I was told the quality of the food was better so we decided to try it out the the owners seamed to really care the food was great we went back on a Sunday the owners son was our waiter worst service I’ve ever received in my life the food was terrible I decided to give them another chance today again the food was terrible we ordered a burger salad and side order of fries it came of to almost $30 I wish I would’ve just went to sonic needless to say I’ll never go back Copelands cafe is the place to go may pay a few extra bucks but the service and the food definitely makes up for it

What a neat lil find for us! We were wanting something different & filling for lunch on our 9 hr drive back home. Found this online and decided to give it a try! Glad we did! 3 of us did the $9 Buffett which included salad bar, chicken fried steak & gravy, hamburger steak with grilled onions and gravy, mashed potatoes and gravy, beans, HUGE rolls with plenty of butter, and the best fried squash you’ll ever eat! The other teen got a loaded baked potato for half that price, with tip and everything, we left out FULL and for well under $45! We were more than satisfied and will definitely be back in when in that area again!

Food was good, but the prices did not match what they charged me. No ticket was given at the table, therefore paying at the counter with no ticket I was over charged $7.00. Won’t be going back.
