Home cooking at it's best! Can't go wrong with whatever you choose. The restaurant is packed with all kinds of knick knacks, antiques and signs. The ladies room is no different, incorporating all things pink and flamingos! Fun place with stick to your ribs good food!

Waited too long, after moving to New Braunfels in 2018, for friend to bring me here. So worth it. Charming, welcoming atmosphere, naturally friendly staff and outstanding cooked from scratch food. We ordered chicken fried steak (extra-crispy crust -- how do y'all do that) with perfect, freshly cut and dressed coleslaw. And warm German potato salad your grandmother would envy. Mushroom swiss burger was perfect too. All that, and our order was served quickly. I can't wait to dine here again.

Stick-to-your-ribs comfort food. Great entrees, sides(I recommend the squash casserole) and PIES.

In town for business training class and was told to try this place and their breakfast menu. It was good. Bacon was thick and crisp, toast was just right. Eggs were hot off the grill. Only disappointed that they don't take credit cards since I'm on a business trip that is how I am paying for things.

I pick up dinner here on my way home from work from Seguin Tx to Martindale Tx and it is absolutely delicious..I've tried the hamburger steak,The chicken fried steak,among other entrees..great service all the time and also I like the other stuff they sell there like candles,pecans,wallets,shirts etc..I totally am going to continue to eat at this fine establishment. .They were there for me during covid and I'll never forget that..

Took a friend of mine for his first visit. Must say was a most embarrassing experience as I had raved about the food. We both got chicken fried steak, it was awesome but the sides were not. My baked potato wouldn't even melt butter, his buttered corn wasn't so he added butter LOL it wouldn't melt, French fries looked like they had been sitting back there for days shriveled up and cold. For my 27.00 and some change very un-happy. UGH and I always liked going there.

Delicious! Hamburger steak and double cheeseburger were great. Service was very quick and servers were very attentive. Highly recommended!

First time here. Really great place. Didn't get a chance to eat, but going back soon to try out the food. The staff was awesome.
