Grain Bin Cafe & Store

This is what I call home cooking at its best. This place has a really nice back home atmosphere and some of the friendliest people Texas has to offer. When we ordered dinner and it came out what I thought was a very short time later, I thought to myself this has to be food that has been sitting under a heat lamp... I was wrong! Hot, fresh and homemade. You could tell the chicken fried steak was hand breaded and a generous piece of beef. I highly recommend stopping here.

Chicken fried steak is fantastic! You also need to try the german potato salad at least once. Good variety on the menu and fresh desserts that change throughout the week. Locally owned, small hometown restaurant that always has a decent crowd when we are there. Support our local businesses, they need you now more than ever!

An absolute awesome mom & pop owned restaurant and store with a beer bar in the back. Nice relaxing atmosphere inside and out..
The owner Tammy is so very welcoming, friendly, high spirited and just a Bag Full of Enthusiasm. My wife stepson and I enjoyed the food, deserts and Sangria, all while hanging out and being judges to a BBQ cookoff hosted by the Grain Bin Cafe & Store was. We couldn't resist the variety of great food on the menu. It was our very first time visiting the Cafe and Store. We will absolutely be returning for food drinks, fun, and just shoot the breeze with Tammy the owner.
Her husband coordinates and set up washer tournaments which is great, being im a washer toss player my self.

Nice small town cafe with great home cooked food. Very polite employees that are happy to greet you.

Don't let the location stop you from giving this place a try. The food was very delicious. I had the fried pork chops and my wife had the chicken fried chicken. Every part of the meal was on point. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They have straightforward southern classics as well as some creative takes on well known southern dishes. I already can't wait to go back and try something else. C'mon, look at that plate... You already want to go.

I love this local restaurant. Good food, the servers are nice. Feels like home. To my fellow Asians I recommend this restaurant.

All right people I have passed this place one time ttttoooooo many. Found a place to turn around and go back and I am glad I did. Old cafe setting and feeling. No music at all Thank God. Food is awesome had grilled pork chops bone in, Cole slaw and al's pinto beans. Food was awesome, service could be a touch better. A young server came out and take just my drink order, BLACK coffee and a small glass of water easy ice. She DID show me with her hands the size of water. Informed her that would be great. NEVER got my water. When I went to pay stated too bad there is no Texas garlic toast as that would have been great to soak up the pork chops drippings. Was told I could have asked for one when I order. Will remember that when I go back. YES, I will go again. Thank you grain Bin Cafe & Store for such good food. They also have a large outside back area as well.

Nice atmosphere. A bit pricey. $2.50 for a can of coke is high. I ordered the seafood combo-$15.50 was ok. The small stuffed crab was okay. The butterfly shrimp was good but the fillet of catfish was undercooked.
My friend's plate was good. She said everything was fine. Plenty of gravy and mashed potatoes. The appetizers fried sweet potato and onion rings were good.

Great restaurant with lots of character. Yummy chicken fried steak, nice staff, and cute store. The earthquake cake is to die for.

Home cooking with an atmosphere to follow. I’ve been here over the years and never had a bad plate of food. From the chicken fried steak to the a nice juicy burger. There’s a little gift shop in front and a separate outdoor patio and bar for parties.
