Brown Coffee Co - Southtown

This was a perfectly nice place and the server was also super nice but they just didn’t have the normal things coffee shops have because I think they are into coffee purism/snobbery. I say that with a smile so I’m not being hostile but they had no flavors for any of the coffee and didn’t even have any sugar or sugar packets or any sugar at all. This is def the place to go if you love plain very serious coffee but this is like the anti Starbucks and very focused just on coffee. Seating was indoor and outdoor and nice. Server guy was very nice too.

The coffee here is astonishing. Looks as good as it taste. Leaves you wanting more! The interior looks and feels like a good hangout spot with the homies or to go on a date. 10/10 👌

I try different coffee shops everywhere I visit. These guys roast phenomenal light, single origin, third wave coffee. I thoroughly enjoyed my pourover and will certainly make a point to come back when I'm in San Antonio next.

Outside of that, their shop is decent with adequate seating and have some pastries available. Their wifi is very slow (<10mbps). Come for the coffee, and you won't regret it.

Really great spot for coffee! All is roasted in the shop so the coffee is super fresh.

Their Cortaves (agave cortados) are delicious. And their chemexs and other coffees are fantastic

It was good. Not overtly friendly and busy on her phone. but the coffee was fine.

Wow such a well prepared Cappuccino the roast was very well balanced.
Also had the tomato and mozzarella sandwich, even thought it was very good as served, I see how it would have been much better warmed-up.

My favorite coffee shop in San Antonio! Highly recommend this place.
