Summer Moon Coffee

If you want to go somewhere to ruin your Sunday morning- this is the place to go. My husband and I walked in last Sunday morning 03/26/2023 and immediately the female staff turned her back on us, The male staff who took our order was not paying attention on what our order was since he was busy chatting on his headset with his buddy. We had to correct him twice when he was entering our order. When we got our coffee, we asked them where were the croissants we ordered. The female staff made a face showing her disdain on serving us, turned her back on us again and continued talking to her headset. We know that she was having personal conversation because she was talking about what she was doing the night before with a friend. The male staff went at the back to get the croissant, heated the bread quickly - when he served it to us, the bread was still cold. We were hoping to find a coffee place nearby where we can go every Sunday morning. Sad to say - this is not the place. The management need to train their staff better.

This review is way over due!! My absolute favorite coffeeshop!! I first tried summer moon in early 2020, and visited the Katy location frequently. I was over the moon when we had one open up in our neighborhood in the Richmond area. I am always sure to recommend this coffeeshop to all my friends and family. We are regular customers and visit almost every day of the week. A special shoutout to Amanda at the Richmond location who's been making the coffee with our special customizations just the way we like it for almost a year now! Thank you so much!!

The barista was very nice and attentive, but when I asked for a description of the different “moon” lattes, he just pointed at a poster with descriptions. This would be fine, but the drink names on the poster didn’t correspond to what’s on the actual menu. When I asked for a cortado (2 oz espresso, 2 oz steamed milk), he said he could do so. Instead, I got a 12 ounce latte. It’s a bit irritating when someone says, “Yes, we can do that,” but doesn’t have a clue what that thing is.

I tried the haft winter and ice blue moon latte. It was just so so, nothing’s too special. It’s a small coffee with few chairs and tables. If you seat at the high top nearly the door, sunshine might bother you.

Love it. Moon milk tastes sooo good. Great atmosphere.

I like this place’s coffee options a lot, but this time I tried their “strawberry refresher.” 100% recommended.

Love the ambience and smooth coffee! The only recommendation is to use strawless sip lids for cold drinks.

Newcomer here! Absolutely love this coffee shop. We needed a coffee shop that not only served amazing coffee but was conducive to work in. This place does exactly that. A phenomenal coffee shop to sit and enjoy your coffee, while doing work. The sitting areas cater to every crowd. If you would like to catch up with a friend- there’s a spot to sit. If you’d like to sit and study- there’s a spacious table with great lighting and outlets. Amazing job and thank you for serving our community!

if you like to try some new tastes, you may order there one Blue Moon Latte which is my favorite.

Wonderful staff, fantastic drinks, and a calm aesthetic. A little on the small side for guests but usually very peaceful with the right amount of guests when I visit. They do have a drive-through similar to the mermaid coffee corps.
