The Bean Cafe Restaurant-Bar

We wanted to do a day trip west out of Lajitas to drive the scenic and historic FM170 and found this a great local place to stop for a quick border meal. Despite being busy, the service was quick and friendly. Food was great, even the kids enjoyed the experience and dad was happy to get a horchata.

Ok service. The food was really good. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. It's not what we expected for a small town Texas restaurant. A local recommended it and it was a great recommendation.

Casual restaurant with lots of American food, if there is such a thing. Cheerful service. Food was fresh. Stay away from deli meats.
Lots of stupids not social distancing or wearing masks to stroll about and wait in line to pay. Not restaurant's fault.
Coffee was fresh.

The food was delicious, hot, & fresh! The owner Hector was very accommodating & friendly. They made me a vegan sandwich that was delicious! Great new & bigger location where the old Payless shoe store was located.

Not impressed with this place. Ordered a Ruben Sandwich with Tater Tots. Cost $11.00 and Sandwich was tiny and just not fabulous. Restaurant looked so cute on inside when we arrived I was sure it’d be yummy. Not so much.

The food here is as good as you will find anywhere. The staff is very friendly and makes sure you feel welcome and well cared for.

What a great little family operated place. We drove down from a visit to Marfa just to have lunch. The server brought our food to the car, and even offered to clear an outdoor table for us if we preferred. Great food, best restaurant in Presidio. We're from far away Florida, but we'll be back.

The restaurant was really cute, very clean. Our little waitress was excellent. The posting said they were open at 7:30 but due to the Corvid they opened at 8 when she saw that we were out front waiting for the restaurant to open the little waitress came and opened the restaurant early Forest and it didn't take long after that that there was several other people that were coming lots of locals in the food was excellent and she brought us every little thing we asked good place to stop don't miss it

Stopped here to eat on our way to Lajitas, and the food was AMAZING! Everything was fresh and home made. The service was great and everyone was so friendly! We will be back for the yummy nachos and the great green enchiladas! This place is a treasure!

Honestly we stopped here on our way through town because we thought it was a coffee shop (wrong kind of bean). We did get drip coffee here and the beef brisket sandwiches. Food and coffee was delicious, we got our food fast, and the staff were all super friendly. Probably the friendliest service we have had in all of west Texas so far!
