Great place. Food was good and the service was outstanding. Like it so much that we made the 1 1/2 hrs. drive from Chinati Hot Springs for a second visit. Salsa was terrific and ordered a litre to go for a snack at the Spings. I was impressed with the impromptu "Presidio Shopping Network" of the local ladies. My wife asked the hostess where she could buy the Mexican style, embroidered blouses. The hostess visited a few table of ladies, the phones went, a lot of talk in spanish took place, and in 5 minutes the hostess came back with a list of stores in Presidio and across the border in Ojinaga. I was impressed! The cafe was clean, the food was good, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this cafe.

The American food was just fine. If you're in the mood for spicy authentic Mexican food, probably not the place for you. If you find mayonnaise and black pepper spicy, then the Mexican fare will be fine for you.

A lot of places closed down due to the COVID. Glad The Bean Cafe is still open. We had a brisket burrito and blue cheese enchilada for lunch. It was soooo good I almost felt like being over at mi suegra’s. Will be back while spreading the word.

Really friendly staff will make you feel right at home. Tasty food and full bar. The large dining room can accommodate large groups.
Definitely worth a visit

Perfect small town cafe. We came to Presidio to buy a battery and asked for a food recommendation. They suggested the Bean and we were not disappointed. I had the red enchiladas and my wife had the green. Both were awesome, just like our abuela would make. Highly recommended.

Great food, great atmosphere. I do wish they would speak more spanish to the people who are just learning like my wife and son. I had the fajitas, my wife had a hamburger with fries, and my son had the grilled salmo. The only down side with the food were that the fries where soggy.

All of the food was well made and seasoned accordingly, the horchata is great in flavor and the service is pretty good. I would probably go at a different hour, not their busiest (lunch) if you’re in a rush.

Good food, interesting atmosphere, has lots of Italian and French decoration, but no Italian or French cuisine on the menu, it's mostly Mexican and American food. It's clean and the staff is friendly.
