The service was leisurely and the ambiance was the same. A very clean locale, our waitress was not overly attentive, she came by to check on us a few times. The chicken-fried steak was very good, the baked potato was fully cooked. I wouldn’t rave about this place but it was a nice way to acclimate to civilization after being in the wild camping for a couple of days.

We came to presidio and were excited to try the bean, we’d heard so many good things about it. Our initial impression was very positive, we seated ourselves and were promptly given a bowl of tortilla chips and spicy salsa which was great. My husband had a margarita which he very much enjoyed (very limey and not syrupy) and I had an Arnold Palmer that was massive and not too sweet. My Reuben would have been good but they forgot the sauerkraut and the dressing. Mikes nachos were just ok. He also ordered a horchata which they made fresh, it was delicious but enormous! The price was very reasonable, somewhere around $35 for all that. The service was very good, our waitress Brenda was very attentive. The building was in good condition, well lit, welcoming and most importantly immaculate. Everything was spotless including in the restroom. The acoustics were good, it wasn’t too loud in there which is always nice.

Great place in the middle of nowhere- had a great lunch experience on a Sunday. Steak and beer special. Staff is friendly and to be frank, food was outstanding. Definitely worth a stop if you pass through.

Awesome place that you need to check out! Great portions of food. We had the brad burger and the juicy Lucy and both were great! Onion rings were tasty too.

I ordered the brad burger which had asadero and green Chile which tasted great. My wife had a regular cheeseburger which was also delicious. See the pics I attached/posted. The prices were fair. Staff was nice-restaurant was clean.
Update - we ate there again in June 2021 for breakfast, the food was great once again, see new pics.

This is the only restaurant in town that is open for dine in for breakfast so it was very busy. But, we were seated promptly and service was excellent. Food is generous portions and very good. I cut my burrito in half and had the other half for breakfast the next day. Nice experience!

We stumbled upon this place in between our time in the State Park and the National Park. This place is nicely decorated, the staff is very friendly and the food is delicious! Great dishes and all tasted awesome. If you have time, please stop by!

Do not let the outside fool you!! The food here was amazing!! I got the chicken croissant sandwich (they were out of croissants so they put it on panini bread which I think was great) which had a chicken breast with guacamole, onion, alfalfa sprouts, tomatoes, and mayo. It was SO good!! My hubby got the chili verde with rice and beans. It was good too! The salsa is some of the best we've had!! I also had an order of onion rings and they were perfect!! I highly recommend this place!! Service was friendly and fast too.

Stopped in for lunch because of the reviews. We had chicken flautas, nachos, and a fried chicken sandwich with onion rings. The stars are legit! Great staff, extremely clean, fast service.
