This coming soon ( June 2019 ) European Cafe & Bistro will be serving traditional European Foods and drinks with weekend Entertainment. Can't wait for it to open.

I really enjoyed my mocha at this European Cafe. It was delicious. The ambiance was inviting and quaint. I had the American croissant with egg, cheese and bacon. It was served with a side of fresh fruit. Croissant was light and flakey, excellent. Another person had the chicken salad sandwich on croissant, she said it was very good. They do sell macrons, muffins and bread. Decorated for Xmas, loved the trees. We will come back again.

This is a great restaurant, just be aware that the food takes a loooooong time! We just waited for 2 hours- (1 hour and 55 minutes). We communicated we were sort of in a hurry, asked about the status of food many times over the 2 hours, and just wish they would have communicated better how long it was ACTUALLY going to take, since we had several impatient toddlers starving and ready for naps. I’ve been here for wine and coffee before with no problems, and ordered quickly to go before with no issues, and while the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the 2 hours, it should not have taken that long, even if several tables were seated right before us, considering we ordered 5 items that needed to be made in the kitchen (as well as ready made quiche and muffins). I want to be extra understanding in these difficult times, so we will return for quick items (their macaroons are delightful!) but not for a quick meal. But again, besides the timing, and clarity on how long items take to make, it’s a wonderful place and the food is delicious!

Found this place this evening while enjoying our walk around New Braunfels annual Wassailfest.

Loved the French cafe vibe of this place. Limited menu due to the Wassailfest crowds. Long lines at other fest food venues and noticed this little place tucked in next to two other bakery cafe’s. Friendly people and terrific food!

GREAT decision to come here instead of Krause’s or Naeglin’s. Very best butter croissant we have had since the real thing in Paris years ago. Truly perfect pastry chef recipe of butter and flaky crunch. Chicken salad was full of breast meat, fruit, and a wonderful smooth base. Chocolate croissant was similarly a homemade taste of France. Going to begin coming here regularly for the full menu. If they get the little things correct, then you can bet the big things are great, too. 😋

We ordered off the menu. A manager came out 10 minutes later to tell us our items were not options anymore. She then came back 10 mins later and confirmed our order. After waiting a little over an hour, we asked for our order to be bagged up for takeout. We asked for a discount and they gave us $5 off a $65 meal, which was not enough in our opinion. We get home and discovered we were missing missing 2 of our meals we ordered and paid for. Called them back and the manager tried to make it seem like it was our fault for not receiving all of the food from their kitchen. The manager was the one that did our checkout and handed us the food.
Waited over an hour and thirty mins for breakfast, with barely anyone in the restaurant.
With all that said, the pancakes were delicious, even cold.
First review I've done and this was the worst service I've ever experienced.

Just wow! Such a wonderful little place, oh my the food was sooo delicious. The grilled cheese and tomato soup were wicked good. The margaritas were phenomenal (best damn margarita ever per my hubby). Thanks so much, we'll be coming back for sure!

Please improve quality of service. We have waited for our order for 35 minutes. It was just a mimosa, a croissant, a quiche, and a latte. The place was not busy. The waiters are just dancing around and seem to forget about efficiency and customer service. Stop charging 3.5% non cash adjustment. Our order was $34.65 and there should be no "non cash adjustment". Most of the people are paying with cards now. And your 3.5% should be incorporated in pricing. This is your cost of doing business and customers should not be liable for paying your fees! Following your logic, why not asking customers splitting utility bills as well? Mimosas are served with Prosecco and not with French Brut. European bistro you say? Well I am from Europe and used to run a restaurant. There is nothing European about this place and it is certainly not a bistro due to the wait time on orders. Utterly disappointed! Denis

Wonderful and amazing staff made us feel welcomed. There was morning mimosas and the crepes were made fresh and the le citron crepes was delicious with caramel. Parents enjoyed snowflake lattes with all American crescents will have to try again for lunch! Definitely coming back

The turtle mocha was the best thing I had from my order. They got our order wrong and it took a long time to get the correct one. Plus the grapes that came with our stuffed croissant had mold on a few.
